Kidding aside, I want to apologize and thank you.

As you all know, I started writing The Calm in the Chaos last March 9, 2021. It took me 1 year and 11 months to finish writing this book. Honestly, I thought writing CC (as I call it) would be easy because compared to LF and LW, this was the only story that had a proper outline. Mula simula hanggang huling kabanata, nakasulat na kung ano ang mga mangyayari. All I had to do was finish writing everything; and here we are now on my last update.

This book touched a little bit of the political scene in the Philippines, and how politics manipulates the justice system. The authoritative and manipulative patriarch of the Buenconsejo mansion symbolizes the abusive officials seated in the government. Kung ikaw ang nasa kalagayan ng mga tao sa loob ng mansion, anong gagawin mo? Magbubulag bulagan ka ba o titindig katulad nina Ashton, Brandon, at Adi? It wasn't written perfectly, but I hope my message reached you: it wont be an easy and short fight, but one has to stand up, speak up, and break the cycle to stop the abuses and injustices. Rafael also remained firm with his principles. Huwag din natin ibenta ang ating mga prinsipyo. Doon tayo sa totoo at tama.

This book also answered Lost and Found. Xythos and Calista had it difficult because of their age gap when Calista was still 19 years old. But they still chose to continue their relationship, and Xythos was well aware of that. Rafael, on the other hand, chose a different path. Does that make Xythos a bad person? For me, no. Technically, Cali was already of legal age when Xythos made a move.

But I wanted to show you, too, a different approach through Rafael.

Again, I apologize for taking too long to finish writing. Maraming salamat din sa pagbabasa at sa matiyagang paghihintay na matapos kong isulat ang libro.

The Calm in the Chaos has been with me during the special moments of my life in my early 20s. It has been with me during my first job, first luxury purchase, first campaign rally, first time voting, first face-to-face classes at the university, first time leading an academic organization at school, and more. It was difficult to let go of this book, but Naxus and Ravian are waiting for me.

I hope you all find someone, not limited to a romantic partner, who will give light to your life no matter how dark and cold it becomes. I hope we all find someone who will be our calm in the chaos.
