I Love You, Bolina Part 2

Here it is! The big day! Everyone came over to get me ready for this. In fact, the team helped me prepare for this separately. Before the party.

Brianna picked out pink roses and a teddy bear for me to give her, Becca gave me tips for 'treating a girl right' Like I could use the extra help, Bay taught me manners and etiquette for a fancy restaurant, and Bentley gave me breath mints and slipped me an emergency 20 dollars in my top pocket. I also removed the purple from my hair and messaged Bo a few days earlier to do the same.

Yeah, if you could tell, I'm not as hyped as everyone else, it's just a friendly meal. Which I've been telling myself this whole time.

When they all finished their cheers and you got this! I got in the car and went to pick Bo up.

Don't ask how I know her address...

Once I got there, I parked by the driveway and got out her gifts Brianna picked out. Then I finally got the strength to ring her doorbell, still feeling really, really nervous.

"Coming!" Bo sang in her heavenly voice.

"Take your time!" I said nervously.

I stood by the door clenching the presents, shaking a little too much.

As if that wasn't enough, my jaw dropped at what I saw open the door.

"Hey Blake! Ready to go?"

I slickly bit my lip and said "Yep, born ready...I also got you these. Bri-Brianna picked them out!"

"Aww, well that's very sweet of her, tell her I said thank you!" She smiled.

"I will." I replied, grinning back. "Ready to go?" I said, pointing at the car.

"I sure am." Bo giggled.

Together the two of us left for the restaurant! I even opened the door for her and made sure to make her feel welcome the whole drive there. Thankfully, the place wasn't packed but I did see a healthy amount of people waiting outside which is code for any place where the wait is long. Bo noticed that too.

"It seems like the place has quite a wait.." She said uncomfortable.

"Yeah, that's why I placed a reservation, thankfully we're here on time.

"Yeah.."

At the door, I offered Bo my arm to grab to put her more at ease. Yes, I did see that in Becca's shows but don't tell her that.

Thankfully we had no zero tables available or last minute cancellations so we got inside at ease. I suppose a bit of luck was included in the equation because we were given a fancy table with an aquarium next to our seat! Not too far away from a live band playing at that! I was even shocked by the place and I booked it! Odd huh?

"Wow! This is so fancy! I've never been in a place like this before!"

"Me neither, at least not in an area like this."

Bo smiled at me and looked at the menu.

"So, what's my limit?"

"Your..limit? Well no more than two glasses. However you can do three if you want to-"

"Oh no, I mean what's the maximum price of what I can spend?"

I smiled at Bo and said, "Whatever you want. The meal is on me."

Bo grinned and said. If that's what you want! I'll keep it cheap for you!"

"Really Bo, it's no problem!" I said beaming.
