"They all look fine on you," Danny groaned. We've been in this shop for almost 2 hours looking for a dress and found myself trying on the same dresses over and over.
"I want this to be perfect," I repeated for the 100th time.
"You look beautiful in all of them. And I'm not just saying that because I'm your husband," He joked.
I twirled once in the dark purple dress I was wearing and smiled.
"Thanks."
I looked at Danny, who was sitting on a folding chair near the entrance of the dressing room. Something outside of the room caught his eye and he held up a finger signaling for me to wait a minute. I nodded and he left the dressing room.
About 30 seconds later he came back in with something on a hanger - Another dress.
"Try this one."
I grabbed the hook of the hanger and locked myself in the dressing room. I slipped on the bright, light blue dress - It was almost white. The top was a square neckline, clean, cut ruffle embellishments from the collarbone to my ribs, and had two white buttons going downwards in the middle. The skirt started from my mid-waist and cascaded down to right above the knee. I had to admit, Danny has a good eye.
The door clicked as I opened it. I stepped out and heard a gasp.
"I think I'm going to cry," Danny gushed as he pretended to wipe a tear away.
"Oh, shut up," I blushed.
He stood up from his seat and walked over to where I was standing. Outside of the individual dressing cubicles was three mirrors connected to each other and set at an angle so you could see your front and both sides. I stood in front of it and put my hands where the skirt started.
"I really do like this dress..." I muttered to myself.
"Twirl, darling. Twirl for Daniel!" Danny said like a tootie-fruity fashion expert.
Laughing, I took a twirl and he stopped me by my waist.
"I think this is the one," I told him.
"Sounds great to me. Since I picked it out, I'm buying."
"Uh, no you're not," I refused as I headed back into the dressing room. I slipped out of the dress and placed it neatly on the hanger.
"At least half the bill?" He tried through the door as I slipped my pants and shirt on.
"No, this is all on me," I assured him as I struggled to button my pants. Once I was done dressing, I stepped out of the room with the dress in my hand.
"Oh really? Check the price tag on that bank buster," He said and pointed at the tag hanging on the back.
I held it up with two fingers and read the multiple numbers on the tag.
$93.47
My eyes popped right out of my head after I read it. Danny seemed to notice and grabbed the dress from me.
"Again, I'm paying for half," He informed me and swiftly walked away towards the sales counter.

Me and Danny sat at a table on the balcony of the food court. My new hundred dollar dress was neatly tucked inside a full-length dress bag thing hanging from the back of my chair and some other bags of accessories laid down at my feet. I had just gotten a manicure so I stared down at my new fake nails.
"How did you like your pedicure, Danny?" I joked with him.
"It was horrible... but I loved it," He admitted.
