Hey guys,
Here is the first chapter of this new story. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoy writing it. I'll talk to guys later :)

Chapter 1:
Departure from Los Angeles

I wake up to the obnoxious  sound of my alarm clock. After being tortured by the noise, I slapped the top of the alarm clock. My eyes open to find myself comfy in my good, old blanket. Sadly, I had to get up because today is departure day. I walk downstairs to a rich kitchen with  wooden cabinets and the cemented island in the center. As my usual routine, I have a bowl of my favorite cereal. I always preferred fruit flavored cereal in the morning.

I head back upstairs and decided to take a 5 minute shower. After the nice, warm shower I look at myself in the mirror. I combed my ash, blonde hair which forms waves over my forehead. My bright, blue eyes paid attention to the pieces of hair sticking up from the deep sleep. I have noticed that I have grown a dark, brown beard on my chin. I don't understand how this happens, but I don't want to know. I grabbed my razor and shaving cream from the white cabinet at the bottom left. I professionally shave the hairs off of my face. I don't like having a beard because I feel uncomfortable with one.

I hear my dog barking from his kennel downstairs. I call my dog Alphie, who is a black and white, American Cocker Spaniel. Alphie's fur is so curly that I sometimes call him a rug or a pillow. Quickly, I open his kennel door to let him out and opened the door to the backyard for Alphie's exercise.

The backyard has a fire pit and a built in pool about twelve feet deep. The back yard is surrounded by a metal fence that separates my house from the forest. White, plastic fences surrounded the house on both sides. The forest in the backyard reminds me of the Little Devil's Tower Trail in South Dakota. Every time I walk through the gate, I feel like I stepped into a gate to an entirely different world.

While Alphie is playing outside, I put on black skinny jeans and a light grey, long sleeve Henley. I grab a pair of white socks and a pair of black, leather converse. I grabbed my black leather jacket and a grey hoodie. I put them on. I took Alphie back inside and put him inside his kennel for the babysitter to take care of him while I'm on the cruise. I made sure to put the dog food in Alphie's bowl. The trip I'm going on takes me to Hawaii.

Before I opened the garage door, I look at a picture. The picture was one where I stood hand and hand with a  young girl with a dandelion hanging by her ear. I was young then. Too forgiving on those who brought harm to me. The only place I can think of where that was occurred when I was only twelve years old.

I was sitting by the school wall one morning. I was freezing from the windy, January weather. The little kids are hanging around the hills while the big kids threw snowballs at each-other. It was a time where I got the living crap beaten out of me. The big kids gang up and throw the snow balls at dangerous levels of speed. One of the snowballs crashed against my face to the point where it cut open my lip.

Before they caused anymore damage, a young girl knocked some sense into them. Literally. When all of them run away, she walked over to me. I looked up at her and her beautiful brown eyes were locked on to mine. Her fair skin glowed brightly that the snow vanished around me. Her dark, blonde hair touched the side of my cheek.

"Are you alright kid?" She asked.

" I am now, " I say in a relieved voice.

"Here let's get you the nurse. " Allie told me. "Need helping getting up?"

She offered me her hand. My eyes widen to see that someone who I had just met offering me help. Besides my family, there has been no one to show such kindness. I reached out and grabbed her arm. She places my right arm over her shoulder while she carried me to the nurses office carefully. I was shocked to learn that she is stronger than me. No wonder she was able to fend off those jerks. While walking to the office, she started talking to me.

" What's your name? " she asked.

" Brian, what is yours? " I responded.

" Alessandra, " she said.

Every time I heard that name, I blush because of how beautiful that name is. It's something that I read in Greek mythologies. Except this was no mythology.

" That's a beautiful name," I smiled.

" Thank you. " she smiled back.

" You're welcome." Allie said. "those guys like to prey on you, don't they?"

" Yeah, I tried standing up to them. Sadly, they don't take very kindly to tattle tales." I told her.

" You don't have to worry about them, if you need someone to talk to I'll be there," she said.

"Thank you so much Alessandra" I told her.

Before the conversation ended, I was curious about what I should ask her. Then out of instinct...

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.

"Yes, you can ask me anything you want." She smiled in a shy way.

"Can I call you Allie?" I asked her.

What? What kind of half-assed question is that? She giggled and I was curious about why she was laughing.

"Yes you can." Allie replied. "I like that. Has a nice, ring to it."

I knew from that moment on, we could grow up to be the best friends in the entire world. We became really close friends after she came to me for help. We played on the playground so much, went to the Noah's Ark theme park together, had worst pun competitions, and became partners for school projects. I remembered hearing her sing Save the World/Don't You worry Child at the talent show during Sophomore year. She had the most beautiful and powerful voice I have ever heard in my life. She was better than any female celebrity singer.

From seeing such a marvelous performance, I think I have fallen in love with her. That all changed when she traveled to Hawaii for spring break vacation with her family. During the last day of spring break, a group of mercenaries from the Enigma Corporation, sank her ship somewhere near the shores of Honolulu. I was one of many hundreds of people who witnessed it live on the newscast. I cried for more than five hours when I saw such a tragic event.

I looked at a red, blue and black bracelet she made for my birthday.

"Oh Allie, I wished I had the opportunity to tell you my feelings for you." I said to myself. "I know you are out there somewhere. Even if I get lost on this voyage, I will not rest until I find you."

I grabbed my backpack with clothes, bathroom tools, med kit, flash light and my phone. I head out the door and got inside a black mustang with red stripes running down the center of it. I opened the garage door and backed out of the driveway. I started driving to the San Pedro ship dock.
