Briella didn't let Renna look in the mirror while she worked on her hair. She didn't know why. Or how a hairstyle could change her mind about the dress.

After the hairstyle, she started on Renna's makeup despite Renna arguing against it.
After the last finishing touches, Briella finally exclaimed, "Done! Have a look."

She spun around and gasped at her reflection. Different from the one she saw after her shower, and the one she first saw wearing the lilac dress. Different from the one she recognised as herself. She couldn't deny she liked the one she stared at now.

She had put her hair up in a simple yet fancy up-do. She never knew what to do with her hair. Usually just threw it up in a ponytail or left it down. But Briella found something to do with it that made her look nice.

Pink blush adding colour to her usually pale skin. Bold black eyeliner making her eyes her main feature, causing her brown eyes to darken. The light purple eyeshadow matched her dress, stretching high towards her brows. She had never worn mascara before, but liked how it looked on her eyes. Her lips—normally non-existent—looked fuller with the light pink lipliner and gloss.

Her only complaint was Briella did nothing to hide her freckles. She hated her freckles and would rather them to be hidden.

Still, when Briella leaned over her shoulder, staring at her reflection, and asked, "What do you think?" she only had one reply.

"I like it."

"Really?" Briella grinned real big. "So you'll wear the dress?"

With some thought, and a little bit of anxiety, she answered, "Yeah. Okay."

"Great!" She left the bathroom. "Now! Accessories time," she sang in a high-pitched voice.

She accessorised Renna and herself with silver. Renna with a simple silver necklace with a heart dangling between her collarbones, a dainty bracelet in the shape of a vine with diamanté flowers around her wrist, and three different sparkling rings.

Briella wore two necklaces. One short with a red jewel, and the second a longer double-chained one with silver diamanté's built into one of the chains. She wore several thin bracelets that sounded like wind chimes when she moved, and a ring on almost every finger.

She put on a tall pair of black heels with ribbons that wrapped around her ankles, and she passed Renna a pair of white heels. Simple but cute. Strappy. The thin heel made her nervous to walk in them, but she put them on anyway.

They packed things into a small handbag each and made their way down to the street.

"Are we taking your car or mine?" Renna asked, exiting the building, flinging the gold chain of her handbag over her shoulder.

"Hell no," she answered. "We're both drinking tonight. I ordered an Uber."

They didn't have to wait long until a grey car pulled up and the man drove them to the clubs. He pretended to not hear them as they chattered the entire way. They thanked him as they climbed out of the car and he gave them a warm smile along with a, "Have fun and stay safe."

They found their group of friends waiting for them outside a club called 'The Crazy Octopus'.

Kelan saw them first, looking over Jensen's shoulder. "Wow. All you girls look amazing."

Renna held her gaze on Jensen. He turned. Her heart leaped. As his eyes landed on her, his smile faded, and mouth fell agape. She blushed under his unwavering stare.

"I helped Renna get ready," Briella told the group of three. "Doesn't she look incredible?"

"Yeah. Stunning," agreed Jada.

Kelan nodded. "Lovely."

"You—you look—you look beautiful," Jensen stuttered, looking her up and down, stopping at her eyes.

With a grin and a blush, Renna replied, "Thank-you. You look really nice too."

Jensen wore a black see-through shirt with a  holographic floral design. The short sleeves fit tight around his biceps. He left the top few buttons undone to show the sparse yet dark chest hair. Shiny black shoes with long black pants, not long enough to hide his bare ankles, revealing his lack of socks. His blue hair no longer fading. He must have re-dyed it since I last saw him. A thin silver chain around his neck and a single silver ring on his pointer finger.

He looks beautiful—incredible. Amazing. She couldn't break her eyes away from him, staring him in the eye. Not until Briella spoke.

"Are you two going to kiss again?"

Jensen broke their connection first, flicking his gaze to Briella. Oh no. I should have warned him she knows about the kiss.

"What?" Jada asked, grinning from ear to ear, and looking between them. "You kissed?"

Jensen looked back at Renna and she looked down. Did he want it to stay a secret for now? I shouldn't have told Briella. Is he mad?

"Yeah," he answered, and she glanced up to see him smiling at her. Switching his stare to Briella, he asked, "How long did it take you to squeeze that one out of her?"

"Not long." Briella smiled.

Jada squealed. "I'm so happy for you two."

She wore a silvery blue dress with a black and gold floral design. The V dipped to the middle of her waist and the flowy sleeves wrapped tight at her wrists. The dress ended at her ankles, showing off the cream coloured boot heel, with a thick golden heel. A few golden rings dazzled her fingers, making them the only jewellery she wore. For the first time in a while, she had lost her fashionable headdress for the night to show off her thick long braid, trailing down her neck and over her shoulder, a few curly tendrils framing her face. She's gorgeous. Like always.

Kelan wrapped his arm around his beautiful girl, failing to calm her excitement and stop her tiny happy jumps. He looked stylish. Beautiful together.

Cream pants. A white shirt under a black and cream patterned coat; the pattern resembling a snake's scales. Black boots. And a gold chain around his throat.

They're the best and cutest couple ever.

"Will we go in?" he asked.
