He pulled himself away from the car and dropped his arms to his side as she approached. His smirk stayed and he stretched up to appear taller.

As she neared, he began to step towards her, taking slow steps.

She planned to ignore him, walk past, get in her car, and go, but he had other plans.

"Did you really think blocking me would keep me away?" he sneered.

Following her plan, she looked past him and made to walk to her car door without as much as a glance.

He stepped in front of her, forcing her to stop. She moved her eyes up from his chest to make eye contact.

"What's the rush, baby?"

She screwed her face up. "Don't call me that."

"Would you rather be called bitch?"

She flinched at the harshness of the last word and stepped to the side to move around him, but he jumped in front.

Staring up at him, showing him a tiresome look, she asked, "What do you want, Levi? Why are you wasting your time on me when I don't want you?"

He stretched his grin wider. "It's fun to make you squirm."

"I'm not going to be intimidated by you, or scared of you anymore. So leave me alone."

"Oh yeah?" He stepped in, closing the distance. Smiling. He towered over her.

She stood her ground, refusing to give him control, looking up at him.

A mischievous smile took over that turned her stomach. "What if I do this?" He didn't move, not that she could see anyway. However, a second later, a hand squeezed her bottom.

She squirmed out of his grip and pushed him away.

He laughed at her. "See? How fun was that?"

Disgust tied her stomach into knots and tightened her abdominal muscles like he had punched her in the gut. "I don't know why I ever liked you."

"I do." He stepped in, smirking over top of her. His voice lowered and he spoke slow. "Because...deep down...you secretly want what I have to offer." His hand rested on her waist and slid up.

Before he could reach her breast, she grabbed his thumb and pulled it back towards him, turning to the side.

He shrieked an agonising cry of pain. She kept twisting her hand, forcing his arm to twist and his knees to buckle. When she stopped but held him in place, he groaned some more.

"Do not touch me ever again," she warned, making her words clear.

His face scrunched up in pain. He tried to pull his hand from her, but she held tight to his thumb and forced it back more to make him helpless.

He cried out and she believed he got the idea. The second her hand loosed, he ripped his hand back to hold it in his other hand, with one last groan of relief, and stumbled away from her.

"If you come near me again, or send me another message, I'll call the police, and have you charged with harassment."

Still holding his thumb, Levi looked up at her, breathing heavy, red faced. His jaw clenched. In the blink of an eye, he moved towards her, closing the gap fast. "You can't—"

Renna had no time to turn or run before he was in front of her, grabbing her neck, pushing her back.

Before his grip could tighten, she swung. Her fist collided with his nose. Thump. Bone crunched against bone.

She regretted it in an instant. Pain exploded through her hand and up her arm. She ground her teeth together, but kept in the groan she wanted to give. Her other hand held her throbbing hand as she watched him recover.

He had stubbled back. They had both created distance between each other. His back to her. Head hung down. He moaned. Hands on his face.

As he turned, she straightened up and let her hand drop to pretend as if she wasn't affected. His hands moved away from his nose for a moment, and she had to stop the gasp that shot up from her chest.

Blood poured down his face. Coating his lips, chin, jaw, and the front of his shirt in red. He looked at the red on his hands and gently clamped his fingers around his nose again. His eyes shut tight, and he groaned. The groan stretched on and grew louder, shifting into a shout. With the angry scream, his eyes flew open to look at her, but he stayed where he stood.

Head held high, she said, "I don't want you anymore. Go find someone else to annoy or you'll be dealing with worse."

He stared at her. Unmoving. Quiet. Breathing heavy with occasional moans.

Without a reply, she decided she'd won. She walked past him, ready for him to make a move, but he only turned to watch her go.

She had to struggle to find her keys with one hand without making her pain obvious, but thankfully found them easy.

Opening her car door, she looked up at him. He watched. Still unmoving. Hands on his face.

"Goodbye, Levi." She climbed in, started the car, and pulled away. He stepped back from the car, and he was gone. Behind her. Hopefully forever.

At the first red light, she held her hand, letting out that groan she'd held back. Please don't be broken, she wished inside her mind. It hurts so bad.

Pain had her squeezing her eyes shut, but she had to admit, That felt good to do. And she smiled to herself.

 And she smiled to herself
