After saying goodbye to Briella in the late afternoon, Jada and Renna walked the short distance to their cars.

"When are you picking up Kelan?" Renna asked, stopping at Jada's car with her.

Searching for her car keys in her handbag, she answered, "Now. I have my bag with me, and hopefully Kelan has finished packing by now."

"Cool. I was thinking of surprising Jensen at theirs to hang out with him."

With a push of a button on her keys, the car unlocked with a click, and she turned to face her, wearing a smile. "Yeah, he'd love that I bet. So, will I see you there?"

"I don't know. I want to pick up something on the way."

"Alright. Well, I see you later, sweetie." Jada placed her bag and box of leftover goodies that Briella made them take on the passenger seat, and Renna placed hers on the ground so they could hug goodbye.

Jada climbed into the car and Renna waved until she drove away.

In her own car, she put on some happy music and sang along as she drove. After two and a half songs, she pulled over and walked into the cute little florist shop. A bell chimed above her head, and cold air hit her as she stepped inside along with the sweet and earthy smell of the many flowers filling the small store.

She took her time to pick out flowers, and got advice from the sweet young girl behind the counter. Together they created a gorgeous bouquet with sunflowers, white roses, daisies, purple flowers she couldn't remember the name of, tiny white flowers, and extra leaves to add to the green amongst it.

Staring at it, she loved it, but wondered if Jensen would too. She had never bought flowers for a boy before. Maybe he won't like them. Are they too girly?

The long haired brunette encouraged her by saying, "If he's the one for you, he'll love them no matter what."

She held onto that and hoped Jensen would appreciate them.

After paying, the smiling girl wished her a lovely evening and she stepped outside into the warm air.

During the drive, she kept glancing down to the passenger seat where the flowers sat on top of her container of delicious leftovers. Each time, she stomach swirled with nerves, but she also smiled bigger and bigger.

Getting out at the car, she considered leaving the bouquet behind and pretending she only brought the leftovers, but with a burst of courage, she picked them up and marched to the front door. She knocked and waited with the container balanced on one hand in front of her and the bouquet hidden behind her back.

Hearing the nearing footsteps, she bounced on her toes and tried to hold back her widening grin.

The door swung open and she beamed up at him. "Hi."

His mouth dropped open and eyes widened before a radiating smile took over, creating a sparkle in his eyes. "Hey," he said, as if not quite believing it. "I wasn't expecting to see you."

"Well, Jada mentioned that she was taking Kelan away for the night, so I thought you might like some company."

"I'd love some," he said, and swung the door open more. "Come on in."

She zipped past him and spun to face him before he could see the flowers.

He shut the door and turned to face her. Taking the container from her, he asked, "What's this?"

"Some yummy things we can eat." She put her other hand behind her back so she didn't look too suspicious.

"Sounds good." He walked to the kitchen, and she followed.
