XIAFEZIN ROZE'S POINT OF VIEW

"D-Do you still love me?"

We call it a night. After making sure that Skaizer will be fine, we decided to end the party right away. Hindi na sila makapagsaya dahil sa nangyari, bukod pa sa pagod na rin ang lahat. Hinatid namin si Blake sa Harasa, bago kami dumiretso ng pag-uwi. Nauna na kaming umalis dahil lumalalim na ang gabi.

It didn't take long before we're done doing all the night routines. Nakaligo na at nakasuot ng pajama. Kababa ko lang kay Ruiz sa crib niya sa katabi ng kama namin pagkatapos ko siyang ihele para makatulog. The crib is between the wall and our queen size bed so it will be secured enough for our baby. Hindi siya mahuhulog, at malapit lang siya sa'kin.

"What..." bahagyang natawa si Krystal sa biglaan kong tanong at saglit akong sinulyapan.

I sighed and played with my hair ends. "I'm sorry. It's just the way you cover me with my coat earlier looked angry, so I want to make sure," sabi ko sa maliit na boses.

"I love you," he said that slowly to emphasize the words. "Don't overthink and just sleep now. We've had a long night..."

"Okay..."

Ngumuso ako at binalikan sa crib si Ruiz. Saglit ko siyang pinagmasdan. He's sleeping peacefully now. Hindi sumama si Yassi sa pag-uwi namin kaya wala akong kaagaw ngayon kay Ruiz sa pagtulog. Obviously, doon ulit si Yassi matutulog sa mansiyon ni Darcee.

"Aren't we going to sleep now?"

I slowly walked closer to Krystal and hugged him from behind. I feel so tired and I just want to sleep with him.

"Let's sleep now, sleep..." I murmured behind him with my eyes closed. "Sleep na..."

Muntik na akong makatulog habang nakabaon ang mukha sa likod niya pero pinilit ko ulit magsalita...

"What are you still doing?" tanong ko sa kaniya nang hindi niya ako sinagot.

I took a look of his laptop's screen. Kanina pa kasi siya nakatayo sa harap nito pagkatapos niyang maligo habang may tinitingnang business graphs. But now I realized that it has changed and replaced with CCTV footage from BSB, on the stairs where I was caught falling.

I froze as my eyes glued on it. Nakita ko ang sarili ko na tumatakbo habang hindi nakikita sa camera ang hinahabol. Halata sa footage na nagulat ako sa kung ano, dahilan ng pagkahulog ko sa ibabang hagdanan.

Then Darcee went into the picture. He rushed to get to me. Minutes later, it was seen that he carried me to the elevator to bring me to the clinic.

Bumaling na sa'kin si Krystal nang i-pause na niya ang recorded CCTV footage kaya napatingin din ako sa kaniya. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pinapanood pa niya ito.

"What did you see back there?" he asked coldly.

I bit my tongue as I reached for my fingers to play behind as I slowly tore my eyes off him.

"Oh, no. Don't give me that scared-kitten look it won't work on me now," banta niya.

I swallowed hard and looked at him, but it was just for a while. He looked darker, this time. Binaba ko ang tingin sa laptop niya. Lying is pointless now that he's seen the footage. And why would I need to lie about this when I can just answer him vaguely if I really don't want to mention what exactly I saw?

"Horrible things," sabi ko at iniwas ang tingin sa kaniya, alam na pagagalitan na ako dahil hindi ko ito binanggit noong unang pag-uusap tungkol dito.

"You lied to me," hindi iyon tanong.
