ROZE'S POINT OF VIEW

A thunderclap and lightning exploded above us, the wind blew fiercely, and the rain poured as the car sped off into the driveway, paving the way back home.

Mukhang may darating nga na bagyo, pero kanina pa ako tumitingin sa weather radar ko at hindi naman nade-detect ang ano mang parating na unos.

"Three PM. It says the weather is mostly cloudy which is true but...it's weird." Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kalsada at kalangitan. "Look at the sky around our domain...it seems like the storm's looming. And it's just getting darker as we get closer."

"Maybe your radar isn't really working," ani Krystal habang nagmamaneho.

"It's impossible," bulong-bulong ko. "My app is internationally recognized by our World Meteorological Organization, you know that. I-It's maybe because I'm losing my signal?"

Sinubukang buksan ni Krystal ang radyo ng sasakyan. To our surprise, only radio static can be heard. Walang masagap na maayos na signal. Nilipat namin nang nilipat pero wala pa rin.

His brows furrowed anxiously. "What's going on?"

"Mukhang may problema talaga sa signal. Hope it won't take any longer."

Tinigil na ni Krystal ang sasakyan pagkarating sa parking. May nag-aabang agad na housemaid para abutan kami ng payong.

Nagtaka pa ako saglit kung bakit may mga banyagang sasakyan sa paligid namin, pero hindi ko na iyon inintindi pa. Mga workers siguro iyon na nag-aayos ng nasira naming bintana sa first floor kaninang umaga. Parang tanga kasi si Kanika.

"Hey! Glad you're guys back early!" salubong ni Shantal sa'min.

Mabilis akong nakababa ng sasakyan para alalayan si Luna na ginising ko pa. Hindi mapawi ang kaba ko sa kalagayan niya. She has been dozing off during our ride.

"Yeah and we brought a company," sabay sampay ko ng kabilang braso ni Luna sa balikat ni Shantal.

"Oh! Who-What happened to her?" litong tanong ni Shantal at agad din namang umalalay.

"It was an accident. Nabangga namin siya."

"What?!"

We marched our way towards the main door and we're welcomed by the Dark88 men's group. They all seemed surprise by the stranger we brought that they immediately pulled off their asses from the sofas.

Sinundan agad nina Skaizer ng kuryosong tingin si Luna. Napagalaw din ang ulo nina Axel at Venix na nasa patio para tingnan kung sino-sino ang dumating.

"Please have her checked to Tylex, Shanny, and tell the maids to prepare the guest room."

"N-No! I can't stay," hirap na kontra ni Luna She can hardly breathe and walk properly.

"With that condition of yours, I think you should do," I advised and turned to Shantal. "She's Luna, by the way."

"Luna what?" nagawa pa niyang itanong ang apelyido nito.

"Luna God knows what!"

"Whatever," Shantal rolled her eyes with a slight shrug. "Well, unfortunately, we also have a situation upstairs!"

"Say what?"

"We called more medics for Ivanna. She's been burning up for forty-five minutes now. But don't worry, we got this. We think it's just a severe fever and nothing more serious. W-Well, we hope. She'll get better soon, yeah."

"Make sure of that."

Hinayaan ko na siyang umalalay kay Luna. Eero and Hugo helped them get upstairs while I turned back to Krystal and found him explaining to Darcee what happened.
