Hugo:

Hola ! it's Hugo here ! I've heard of a haunted mansion near our town, everyday that I walk to school, I can see it.
The elders and my parents always tell me never to go there, they say it's extremely dangerous and riddled with monsters, they say we'll die.
Do I believe them ? Absolutely not, if it really was that bad then why are we still living here ? If there really are mobsters here you'd think they'd come after us and kill us, but no ! Nothing has happened !
I've been planning on going there with some of my friends, some say it's a bad idea since it could really be dangerous but I don't care, me and my other friends joke about it a lot and we want to go in there, who's going to stop us ? And if this mansion has a serial killer or whatever, they're probably dead by now, no one can live for years without food and water and it's not possible that this place has infinite supplies, they're probably dead

The planning has been going on for a few weeks now, me and 2 other friends have got everything covered, this is going to be so cool !! And we'll prove everyone wrong and show them that the mansion is just abandoned and old, monsters and ghosts don't exist ! At least, I don't think so, how could that be possible ?
My two friends think the same, you'd think there'd also be better restrictions to keep people away from it, but me and my friends have managed to make it to the gates of that mansion before, and the gate isn't even locked at all, and the gate can easily be climbed over if you get some small support like a chair or a friend

" So how long should we stay in the mansion again ? " Asked [Friend1]
" Until we see everything, but if it's really boring we can just go " I replied, packing up my rucksack to get a head start on prepping for our little trip, [Friend2] took notice and raised a brow, he looked at me and then at my things, " ole, we're not going until 3 am, it's 7 pm ", I rolled my eyes and stuffed my rucksack in the closet, I stood back up and shrugged, " it's good to plan ahead "
The two didn't say anything in response, I looked at them and crossed my arms, " did you remember what you have to take ? "
" Mhm "
" Ok, I'll take your word for it "
Something feels off about how they're acting but whatever, maybe they're just a bit nervous, even though we don't believe it's haunted, we still might get into trouble if anyone notices we've gone there, that place is strictly forbidden and it's even illegal to get near it, obviously, we're teenagers, we won't get arrested for something like that, but being confronted by cops isn't fun, especially since they'll definitely call your parents and that'll make things wayyyyy worse, I should know, me and my amigos got caught drinking at a party once, eugh, never again.. besides, the alcohol tasted terrible

" Look, Hugo, we should just- get home now, we'll see you later "
" Aww, you can't have a sleepover ? "
" Nope, sorry "
" Alright then .. "
They left my room and I laid in bed. Well, best I get some sleep before the action begins !!!
