Piracy Is The Best Policy

These pirates are so kind ! They let me sleep in a fish tank and are letting me stay for a while, this is some of the best rest I've gotten in a long time !! I could stay here forever, honestly..

But I know that might be a bit much to ask, if they want to keep me then that's fine, but I'm not sure if that'd be a good idea, I'm a weird mythical creature, people might think weirdly of them if they see me, they might hunt them down to get to me, anything could happen, and it's sad since they're all such good people, too, they don't deserve to be tortured or hurt because of my presence

I resurfaced from my tank and looked around, I was in the same room as that pirate girl from yesterday, I found out her name is Ray, and she's got a nice room, it's small but it's cute and cozy, just like the books I'd read, and they're symbols of hooks and eyepatches, and a silhouette of Ruslava. I already know about Ruslava, I've read about her, but I also want to hear what the pirates have to say. She was a strong and very clever pirate and she was only 17, she was a ghost and had centuries of experience with this stuff, but she mysteriously stopped her piracy around the 1960s, she's never been seen since, but some tales say that her spirit will appear to aid allies in battle and that she shows up in the dreams of enemies as a sign that they're doomed, destined to be brutally murdered.

I looked over at Ray, she was laid sloppily on her bed, snoring like a lovable idiot, I giggled and watched her, I didn't have much else to do right now, there is also a small window that shows the ocean, but there's not much to see, so I'll keep watch for Ray right now.
I can hear creaking from above me, looks like some of the others have awoken too, but I tried not to get too distracted. I wagged my tail slowly, watching her sleep, it's a little boring to do but oh well, things could be worse

There was a knock at the door, I carefully reached over and opened it, the door ender up lightly hitting me in the face when it opened, the person looked over and snickered at me " oh ! Woops, my bad, friend "
" It's alright ! What brings you here ? "
" Jusr makin sure you n Ray are doin ok "
Ray slowly stirred awake, we turned to her as she stretched and sat up, " mmm.. what ? "
" Oh, good mornin Ray ! " " Did ye sleep well ? "
Ray nodded and smiled, getting up immediately and already full of energy, " 'course I am !! Did ya sleep good too ? "
We both nodded, I reached over and patted her head, she chuckled and hugged me tightly, " yer such a sweet lil thing, aintcha ? " " Euue- yea-- "
" Ok ok, Ray, relax.. "
Ray let go of me and I rubbed my back, I like her hugs but my god she's strong

" Anyways.. wanna come n eat breakfast ? " " Yes of course !! "
Ray picked me up and we went over to the kitchen, the others were all slowly waking up and coming in, they all already looked well energized and rested, I smiled as I watched, happy to see them all get along and in peace, I'm glad to see such wellness in a group of people again..

Ray sat me down on a chair again and grabbed a lot of fish and two sandwiches, I licked my lips in delight and grabbed a sandwich and started biting into it, and it's just as good as it was the day before !! Phenomenal..
After a few bites, I looked at Ray, " say.. what do you think of Ruslava ? "
Ray looked at me and swallowed the bite she took, she got up and put her hands to her mouth to make it seem like she'll project her voice, " EY GUYS !! SHE WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT RUSLAVA !! "
I flinched a bit at how she reacted, they all looked at me and smiled, " hey- yes, I know about Ruslava but I meant like.. what do you think of her ? "
" Ay, Ruslava is great ! She was known as one a da best fighters and best pirates out there, her ghostly abilities, her experience out at sea, her loads a years of fightin, her mischievous and silly attitude made her great at almost everythin !! " One of the pirates spoke up cheerfully, one of the older ones waddled over, somewhat reminding me of how Specimen 5 would, " I met her a few times, I was part of her crew !! "
" Wait.. she's real ?! " I exclaimed, the old pirate chuckled and nodded, " yes, of course ! She's wonderful, she was such a joy, she knew how to motivate and cheer everyone up and I've witnessed her fight, no one could catch her off gaurd "
