Whumpee gets home from the hospital with a slew of medicines they're required to take to get well. One problem though: Whumpee is a TERRIBLE pill-taker. They always have been. They choke and sputter and cough and gag. There just is no. easy. way. to do this.
Especially! If part of their trauma revolves around being drugged. Maybe they were forced to take pills, maybe they were tricked. How can they trust anyone after all that?
Whumpee has to follow a small ritual each time they need to take pills. They sit in a quiet space and take sips of water before and after each pill and breathe deeply to ensure the pills don't come back up. They shut Caretaker out who means well but just doesn't quite understand but respectfully gives Whumpee their space. As long as the pills are being taken, they'll let Whumpee do what's needed.
