Whumpee is home and safe now, but can't help feeling sad about everything they missed. They were gone for so long that everyone has changed so much! Their niece was now walking and could say words, their sister cut and dyed her hair, their little brother went away to college, and their partner got a promotion at work. These were all great things! Whumpee just wished they could've been there for all of it. Everyone seemed to move on without them and expected Whumpee to catch up as soon as they got home. It was hard. It was sad. This isn't what Whumpee wanted to come home to. Were they wrong for that?
