Logan's face contorted as Topper explained everything to him. He began pacing inside his bedroom, keeping his phone close to his ear in order to hear.

"He sank my boat, man." Topper scoffed from the other end.

"Shit." Logan breathed out and shook his head. "Why—I mean, why would he do it?"

It was silent for a moment. "I don't know, man. I really don't. They're just–they're a bunch of dirty Pogues. That's all there is to it."

Logan hesitated, his gaze narrowing. "And you're sure that's the reason? They're Pogues so they sank your Malibu?"

"Yeah–Yeah. I mean...yeah." Topper stammered out.

Logan felt guilt creep up into his throat as he remembered exactly what he'd said to Kori the other day. There was no doubt in his mind she'd been there when the crime was committed, but he knew it had everything to do with him. I mean, after what he'd said? It didn't take a genius to put two and two together— Kori and Pope sank Top's boat because of him.

The only thing that didn't add up is why they'd chosen Topper as their target. He was the one who was an asshole, so shouldn't his jeep have its tires slashed or something along those lines?

"We're going to the summer movie series tonight. You, me, Kelce, Rafe—We're gonna get 'em back." Topper remarked.

Logan bit the inside of his cheek. He wasn't opposed to having Topper's back; he was opposed to seeing his brother. The two of them hadn't talked since the night of the party, even though Ward had promised he would get an apology. At this point, though, he didn't really give a shit. The less time he had to spend with him, the better.

"You in?"

But Topper was still his friend.

"Yeah. Yeah, man. I'm in." Logan concluded and hung up.

He let out a sigh and opened his door. The sound of hushed voices suddenly caught his attention, pulling him towards the other end of the hallway. It was coming from inside his dad's office, except his dad had just gone downstairs.

Logan's brow was tightly knit together as he twisted the handle and pushed open the door. His gaze quickly found his sister before falling on John B. As a result, shock crossed his face.

"Again?" He questioned, throwing both arms up. "This is not, and I mean not what I was expecting. Your type's definitely evolved."

John B's head whipped to Sarah's as her eyes went round. "Are you serious right now? He's bleeding out, Logan. That's why I brought him here."

Logan's eyes darted down to the blood on his shirt as he cursed under his breath. "So you're not—"

"No, now get out." Sarah ordered.
