She hated him. She hated him more than she ever thought possible. He was a kook- her natural born enemy.
He didn't hate her at all. Not one bit. It couldn't have been farther from the truth. Did she know that? No- and she never would.

Kori's fingers curled around the railing of the boat as she stumbled forward. She hadn't realized it, but her head was aching. It almost felt like someone had gone in on the left side of her temple, subtly forcing a rock against her skull over and over again. She gingerly brought a hand up to the area, her head feeling all too heavy to carry.
Logan's gaze flickered from either of her eyes as he gently set his hands on her arms. "Are you okay?" He asked, subconsciously lifting his attention to the corner of her head. Dried blood still caked her skin, and up until now, he'd completely forgotten about how she'd been taken.
"Oh, this?" Kori remarked, gesturing to the left side of her head. "Yeah, no. I'm fine. A little migraine, but I'm fine."
"Kor," Logan prodded, staying exactly where he was.
She inhaled, eyes subsequently closing. He had no right to call her that. "Seriously. I'm fine. It's just a headache. And it's Kori."
At that, he dropped his hands, seeming to relax a little bit. The tension between them was thick though. She hated him— something he knew he was to blame for. "Yeah, you probably have a concussion."
"Probably." She echoed, shrugging her shoulders at him as they continued forward. "I'll be sure to send Rafe the bill."
"I am sorry about that. Really." Logan said, swallowing hard. "I never meant for you to get hurt."
"Where are we going?" Kori questioned, entirely ignoring his apology. They didn't have time for this right now.
Logan quietly sighed, rounding the corner as they reached a door. "I said I was taking a nap. Sarah will know that means to meet in my room. And since she's with Rose right now, we have a little bit of time."
Kori's gaze narrowed. "So you're...actually taking a nap?"
"No. I made a promise to someone I intend to keep." Logan remarked, lifting his fist to the door and lightly tapping on it.
A few moments passed before the door was opening and Wheezie was standing in the entrance. She noticed Logan first, then Kori. As her attention shifted to the blonde, she visibly paled.
Kori grimaced and glanced at Logan. "Is she— Is she scared of me?"
"Well you're you...so probably." He mused, ushering the two of them back inside her room.
"I'm not scared. I'm confused." Wheezie corrected, folding her arms across her chest. "No one will tell me what's going on and you promised me that it would make sense."
"I know. I know that, Z. I'm sorry." Logan apologized, closing the distance between them. "Everything kind of just fell apart. But I'm here now."
Wheezie dropped her gaze, tone softening. "When you said Kori would be the least confusing part of last night, you were talking about dad, weren't you?"
