She hated him. She hated him more than she ever thought possible. He was a kook- her natural born enemy.
He didn't hate her at all. Not one bit. It couldn't have been farther from the truth. Did she know that? No- and she never would.

Kiara pulled to a stop, her car parked alongside the curb. Pope got out with the intention of getting John B a ferry ticket, but was quickly walking back over to the car window. His eyes were wide and his breathing was strained, only causing everyone to be even more stressed out about the whole situation.
"Okay. Okay, all right. No." Pope murmured, gripping a white paper in between his fingertips as he reached them.
Kori leaned forward, her brow snapping together at his rambling. "What is that?"
"No, so, um, okay, no."
"Pope, can you act normal?" Kie asked as he climbed inside and handed the paper to her.
"Bad news; the ferry's closed and there's that."
Kie's gaze went wide before she handed the paper back. Kori's eyes scanned the poster, her breath catching in her throat at the bounty. "Holy shit." She breathed out.
John B was worth twenty-five thousand dollars.
"What is that? What is this?" John B questioned, remaining reclined in the back next to JJ.
The blonde snatched the paper from his sister, immediately swallowing hard. "Well, John B, uh..." He flipped the wanted poster up to show him. "This is a good framer of you."
"Okay, so the whole island's lookin' for John B right now." Pope voiced, nodding his head.
"That's a lot of money." Kiara pointed out.
"Congratulations, John B. You're now famous." JJ mused.
Kori gave him a look before turning towards the front. "Okay, so what's the plan? The ferry's closed and we can't get to the HMS— the chateau is definitely staked out. So what do we do?"
"Let me think. Let me think. Just give me a second." Pope responded, pausing momentarily. Four seconds passed before his eyes lit up and he was turning around in his seat to face the two blondes. "JJ, Kor?"
"What?" They said in unison, rapidly glancing at him.
"Does your dad still have that boat? The–The cigarette boat— the Phantom. The one he used to race."
JJ kept his gaze on his sister and let out a breath. "Maybe."
"You could get right up the coast, no problem."
"Pope, we can't—"
"It's not gonna be easy." JJ interrupted her, a feeling of anxiety washing over him.
He ignored both of them, starting the car instead.
"Pope!" Kori called out, uncertainty etched behind her eyes as she glanced at her brother. "We don't even know where the keys are. We can't."
