As the sun began to set on a cold and dry winter day, the world around him grew quiet and still. Most people preferred to stay warm inside, but for him, there was something invigorating about the chill in the air.

'On days like these we don't expect too much to do, people actually want to stay warm at home. But, unlike everyone, I am not like that. I prefer to walk outside and feel the freezing wind cutting my skin, because somehow I feel something, I feel... alive.'

Meanwhile, a young man with blue hair wearing an apron looked out the window of the coffee shop where he worked. He smiled to himself 'there's no rain after all' - it's just the perfect weather in his eyes. Lost in thought, he stood motionless in the middle of the shop.

His coworker, a freckled blond boy, was finishing up with the last customer of the day - a handsome ginger-haired guy. "Thank you," the customer said, taking his coffee and heading for the door. The freckled boy watched him go, then turned to see his friend Jisung standing by the window, lost in thought.

"Hey, Jisung, everything okay?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Jisung blinked and shook himself out of his reverie, realizing he was still at work. "Sorry, Felix," he said, automatically restarting, grabbing a rag and wiping down the tables. He kept talking as he worked, not wanting to be rude to his friend. "I just remembered something I need to take care of later."

He took a step back turning his face and body to keep talking looking directly at Felix "I just-" and failed to notice the customer was walking right to him that exact second going to the exit door. Jisung's foot collided with the person's, causing them to stumble and the mess was made.

The other person had one cup of hot coffee in his hand, and it was not closed enough to prevent the worst.

Jisung fell on top of him, somehow he pinned the ginger boy's face, and all he could do was stare at the most handsome face in front of him, with his own mouth and eyes opened he couldn't say a word, his features were gorgeous - his chiseled jawline, piercing brown eyes, and full lips.

Jisung's heart raced but his daydream was cut short as the boy groaned in pain, trying to balance the cup of hot coffee in his hand. Jisung's eyes widened in horror as he saw the steaming liquid spill onto the boy's hand and burn his skin.

"Ouch!" The boy under Jisung grimaced in pain, balancing his hand dripping coffee... hot coffee.

Jisung then looked at the boy's hand and his heart raced in anxiety as he realized the boy's hand was burned from the coffee.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," Jisung said again, scrambling to his feet and helping the boy up "You're burned! Oh Oh! I'm so sorry! You have to clean the wound!" he said, grabbing his hand "I wasn't paying attention, I'm such an idiot."

He felt so desperate, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry," he said again, leading the boy to the kitchen sink and turning on the cold water. The other person was speechless, he didn't feel much pain right now but he couldn't say a word because the boy in front of him was mumbling nonstop while washing his hand with cold water.

"I'm so sorry, this is all my fault, I'm so clumsy, I'm always doing this and people get hurt every time. Please, I will help you clean everything, I have some medicine in my backpack, I burned myself before with coffee. Maybe we should do some bandages, take you to the hospital or maybe call an ambulan-" Jisung had glassy eyes, he was afraid he hurted someone, and the worst at this point, it was a customer.

"It's okay, really," the boy said softly, trying to ease Jisung's guilt.

But Jisung was too wrapped up in his own worry to hear him. "No, no, it is my fault," he said, "I'm always so clumsy, I'm surprised I haven't burned down the whole coffee shop yet..."

The boy couldn't help but smile at Jisung's self-deprecation, he took a look at his name tag 'Han Jisung', he needed this boy to stop.

The customer took a step towards the worker, close to his face and said in a soft almost whispered tone "Jisung..." Jisung then felt chills through his spine and in less than a second he stopped, blinked and lifted his head to look at him in the eyes 'oh, ooh, he's so close'. The client boy then continued "...It's fine, I'm not hurt" and smiled at him, looking incredibly soft like a cat.

They both stayed still staring at each other, Jisung, who 3 seconds ago couldn't stop talking, can't find a word to say right now. He feels his face becoming hot every second they're holding their gaze and really don't know what to do.

"Ji-sung..." the client boy said again, making Jisung jump, getting redder every second there. The client was coming closer, Jisung's eyes were getting wider, froze in his place, his bottom lip trembling, he dryly swallow staring at him, somehow he managed to answer "Yes?" then he felt a warm hand on top of his own. That's when he looked ah them, he realized he was still holding the boy's hand firmly under the tap water "...I have to go", the customer said.

Jisung realized that and quickly released the client's hand, taking a step back. "OH I'm so sorry! I just- I want- Sorry- To make sure- you- OK" he stammered, his face still burning red. He bowed politely, not daring to look up at the client. The boy passed by him and whispered a soft "Thank you" and like this he left the kitchen.

Jisung felt on his knees, he was so ashamed of what he did, first falling on top of the boy, then he burned the client's hand, then he held someone's hand he didn't even know and ashamed himself in front of him. But at that time, the most important thing glimpsed in his head 'he forgot his coffee!' He then hurried to find him and give him back the coffee that he ruined minutes ago, but the client already left.

He only sees Felix cleaning the floor and he feels bad for him "You shouldn't have, I'm so sorry, let me finish this"

Felix in a second gives him the broom and says "good, cause we have to close the shop in 5! Are you still up for the party, right!?" as he happily hugged Jisung.

"Yeah, sure" Jisung answered in a not so excited tone, Felix left him with a small pout and went to the counter to finish cleaning everything as fast as he could, so he could enjoy more of the night with him.

Jisung finishes cleaning the floor, when he sees under a chair the paper cup of coffee the client left behind, the moment flashed again in his mind, he felt so bad and he sighed as he bent down. With the cup in his hands, he walked to the bin and was ready to throw it, then he mumbles at the sight of a name written on it "Minho".
