Chan woke up early in the morning to find the bed beside him empty, 'did Changbin already left?'. He checked his phone before hearing a whispered conversation "...go back there before he wakes up!" and the sound of a door closing after that.

Changbin appeared in the living room realizing Chan was awake "oh, oh, g- good morning Chan, are you awake yet?" He spoke, seeming a bit nervous.

"I just woke up" Chan said, standing up smirking as he left to the bathroom to wash his face.

"Yeah, ahn, I- I just woke up and was, ahn, washing my face" Changbin started to explain himself while Chan was leaving.

After a few minutes Hyunjin appeared in the living room "Good morning" followed by Jeongin, then they proceeded to the kitchen to make breakfast for all.

Hyunjin decided to make pancakes that he knew the youngest loved. "Innie, what do you think about us making some pancakes?" as he smiled at the younger one.

"Oh, I love it!" Jeongin smiled back at him, the two shared a brief shy stare.

Changbin saw them and thought 'what is happening?', these two were acting weird today.

"Good morning!" Felix happily said as he joined them, followed by a sleepy Jisung.

Seungmin joined them for breakfast, sharing a brief stare at Changbin, he was with Chan who had just left the bathroom.

And like that all of them had breakfast and right after that they decided to leave to their own houses.

Changbin went home by his own car, the other trio Chan, Felix and Jisung in Chan's car.

"Jisung, I can drop you home, okay?" Chan asked.

Jisung shared a look with Felix who nodded "yeah, thank you". He was worried about leaving Felix alone with Chan but the blond boy seemed like he could handle the situation by himself.

Inside the moving car, Jisung felt his phone vibrate, he unlocked it and saw 'Minho sent a message'. He was surprised to receive a message in the morning from him, Minho just liked to disappear and appear again a few days later like nothing happened inviting him to a coffee or dinner. He opened the message and it was a video of Dori jumping and playing with a rope, then he giggled it was funny indeed 'so cute', he answered.

Felix kept glancing through the mirror at Jisung every now and then, watching the boy messaging on the phone. This attitude didn't go unnoticed by Chan.

After a few seconds, Jisung received a new message...

"What are you doing today?"

"Mmh, like nothing lol

I'm coming home rn"

"Do you wanna come over?

I'm bored

You can play with Dori

And I can cook lunch for us"

"Wow you're pretty much convincing

I'll sure be there

Just give me a few minutes"

Jisung smiled looking at his phone, he'll play with Minho's pets but maybe what he was feeling was way more than that.

As they got in front of Jisung's apartment he said his goodbyes "thank you, Chan" and started to leave the car. Felix left the car too and went to hug him.

Jisung was surprised by the sudden hug, he blinked and made a "oh" pout. Felix then looked at him smiling.

"Hey, are you going to be fine?" Jisung asked, while glancing at Chan then looking back at the freckled boy in the eyes while putting his hands on Felix's shoulders.

"Mmh, I think so, we can't avoid each other forever" Felix sighed, looking away.

"You can do it and everything will be fine. Take care and call me if you need anything, okay?" Jisung reassured him, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Yeah, I'll text you later" Felix smiled weakly and let him go "bye".

"Bye" Jisung waved at him while going into the building.

Felix entered the car in silence and fastened his seatbelt without looking at Chan, actually he was just trying to avoid any conversation at this point, he was just looking down at his own hands waiting for Chan to start the car while he was munching his own lips.

"You like Jisung" Chan blurted out of nowhere, tightly gripping the steering wheel, looking straight forward, pressing his lips.

Felix could feel his heart racing and his face becoming red, he can't run away anymore "yeah, I do".

Chan froze in place silent, while his heart started to break into tiny little pieces.

Felix felt that he couldn't avoid "the talk" anymore, so he took a deep breath and decided to start right there pouring everything he had locked in his chest the last few days "I-, I was very sad, actually, I was very frustrated that day that we..." he gulped "you know".

Chan furrowed his eyebrow trying to swallow his own tears as he pressed his lips harder, waiting for Felix's words.

"And I'm really sorry about what happened, I shouldn't cope like this, it was a mistake" he shook his head, then he turned to look at the elder.

Chan felt Felix's words like a knife through his heart, he called their kiss, their night 'a mistake'.

"Chan, can you forgive me, please?" Felix was being really sincere and had a serious regret in his eyes.

Chan can't resist his sad face, he can't see his younger friend in pain because of him, he fights the urge to tell him about his own feelings, he wants to hug and kiss him so badly again. So he swallowed his tears and patted Felix's head and said "It's alright, you're forgiven, we're good". He didn't want Felix to feel bad, so he faked a smile through the pain.

"I love and I miss my best friend Chan" Felix said with tears in his eyes.

Chan tried his best to hold his tears and smiled at him "I love you too, Lix".

Felix hugged him so strongly like it was their last hug, Chan felt that and couldn't avoid letting a single tear fall from his eye.
