jealous (jennie)

The beat of the party music thrums a steady beat through your veins as you trail behind jennie as shes somehow managed to drag you to one of her parties again. you feel..kinda dumb. you hardly know anybody there while jennie was quite the opposite, she was talking to everyone like she knew them so well she had all their family trees memorized. plus.. you're also not that much of a party girl, so you wander to another room away from your girlfriend as you try  to get a break from the incredibly loud music.
Jennie is really getting it on on the dance floor and she turns around, meaning to hold your hand and spin you around when she realizes you're missing. ..of course you are. she mentally face palms herself , feeling guilty. so, she goes around the place trying to fine you and hoping you've settled well.
Good news, you did. When jennie finally spots you, she sees that you're talking exuberantly about something to a guy jennie recognizes as changbin. she grimaces internally as she also sees that hes edging uncomfortable close towards you. one of his hands were already on your arm and the other was creeping surreptitiously towards you . he nods once in a while to distract you while you keep talking cheerily. jealous claws at the pits of jennies stomach. she trusts you completely, with her life. she also knows that you're completely entitled to talk to whoever you like but despite all that, she still feels angry (also jealous). not at you though, at changbin. she knows the guy well and in all honesty, she doesn't like him much. she knows he would jump at a chance to take advantage of you any day and jennie hates that.
Jennie rolls her eyes and strides towards the two of you purposefully. she smoothly inserts herself into the conversation but sliding her hand around your waist smoothly.You look up, surprised but wave at her heartily. Jennie doesn't miss the way your eyes light up either. What can you say, you were excited to see your favorite person.
"Jennie! Hi!" you say, practically glowing. Jennie anger at changbin fades momentarily and she is once again reminded why she fell for you.
"Hey baby." she smiles warmly. "You having fun?" she asks. You nod,
"Yeah. This is Changbin, by the way. I think you might know each other." Jennie turns sour once again when reminded of him. She turns her head slowly towards him. His hand was still on your arm. the fucking nerve of him. jennies glares at him and changbin pulls away suddenly, as if he'd been burnt.
"Thats right. We're.. acquainted." Her cool gaze searches changbin and he becomes visibly uncomfortable.
"Oh. Jennie. I uh didn't know y/n was your girl." he says nervously.
At this, you tilt your head in confusion, brows furrowing.
"Huh? I've been talking about her the whole time. Isn't she wonderful?" You say earnestly. Anybody could tell you absolutely adore the woman that was latched on to you right then.
Jennies lips tweak up at this newly found information, pleased. She turns back to changbin and raises a brow. busted. jennie really put him in a spot.
Changbin wipes his hands on his jeans nervously.
"I uh- gotta go. sorry." he says , before promptly turning around and rushing away. jennie watches him leave, happy with herself. you nudge jennie with your elbow a cheeky grin on your face.
"What was that all about? You jealous?" You chortle. Jennie looks at you, raising her brows.Her arm moves smoothly from your waist, traveling across your back to wrap it around your shoulder so she can pull you closer. She leans closer to you, smiling.
"Me? Never. I know whats mine. but.. reminders never hurt."
You roll your eyes but you don't retort. After all, you know shes right.
