"Wait! Really?! You'll actually go with me? I thought for sure you were gonna turn me down!" Lance squealed. People sitting near them all turned their heads, causing Keith to become more squeamish. Why did Lance have to be so freaking loud?

"Shut up!" Keith demanded, putting his hand over Lance's mouth for more emphasis. Unfortunately, he didn't realize how intimate this gesture was until it was too late. Lance was looking at him more in love than ever as he glanced at Keith's hand against his mouth. Keith could feel Lance's breaths against his hand and he felt his heart pound. He quickly pulled his hand away blushing. This caused Lance to smirk.

"Soooo we're going as a date right?" Lance asked with that flirtatious tone he had.

"Don't push your luck," Keith grumbled in return.

"I'll take that as a yes," Lance cheered, and then before Keith could say anything else...the audience grew quiet and the show began. As the lights dimmed, Keith took the opportunity to smell Lance's suit that was draped over him. It smelled amazing, and Keith was secretly very very glad Lance had decided to give him his suit.

Keith had to admit...the play was amazing. They were on a whole other level, and for once Keith understood what Ms. Fran had been saying. As he watched the actress playing Juliet recite the same lines as Keith had, he realized she wasn't just reciting them. There was a whole new dimension to them. She was acting. Keith knew the play by heart and still he felt like he was on the edge of his seat the whole time. At the end he even felt himself start to cry. And he knew...he knew when he got back to Texas things would be different. When he got back...he would no longer be Keith. He would no longer be Kara. No, he would be Juliet.

When the lights came up Keith looked over at Lance to see that the boy was still crying. He looked adorable. Keith laughed.

"That was amazing wasn't it?" Keith said. Lance nodded quickly.

"Beautiful," he agreed getting up. As they made their way out of the theater the two continued to talk about how amazing the play had been and their favorite parts.

"I thought the nurse was really funny, but actually I think Hunk's even better as the nurse!" Keith admitted.

"No! I know what you mean!" Lance agreed laughing. They pushed open the doors of the theater and stepped out into the night. All at once they felt the cold chilly New England air hit them. The both gasped.

"Geez it's freezing!" Keith yelled. The suit was barely even helping anymore.

"Yeah!" Lance agreed, scooting in closer to Keith.

"Here, take your suit back. It would be rude of me to keep it!" Keith insisted, trying to put the suit back on Lance's shoulders. But of course Lance refused, causing Keith to grind his teeth in frustration.

"No Kara! You keep it! I promise I'm fine!" Lance insisted, putting the suit back on Keith's shoulders.

"Okay fine! We'll compromise. Here!" Keith yelled, holding out the suit. Lance looked at him confused, but Keith maneuvered them around to where they were both of them had the suit somewhat draped over them. Their bodies were pushed close together so their body heat helped warm their cold skin. They were squeezed in tight, but it was instant warmth. Well, they were both still freezing but it was better than it had been. Plus they were so close that there was no way they would get lost in the crowd.

It wasn't til they both turned to look at each other at the same time when Keith realized this might not have been the best idea. Keith would barely even have to move he wanted to kiss Lance. And Lance's body was pressed so so close to his. Keith could smell Lance's aroma even more than he had earlier. Oh no. How had he fucked up AGAIN.
