Kara was gone. Destroyed. Forever. Keith would never have to see her again.

Keith let out a long breath he had been holding in. Lance was gone too. If Keith had never agreed to be Kara...if he would have told Lance sooner...would things have been better? Or was Keith just doomed to be a fucked up mess.

Right at that moment Pidge came in sighing.

"You told him didn't you?" She asked. Keith nodded sullenly. The door opened again...expect this time it was Shiro.

"Keith! You were amazing! I'm so so proud of you! Who knew you'd be an amazing actor!" Shiro cheered, bringing in Keith for a hug. Keith couldn't smile though. He couldn't feel anything.

"Oh...you told him didn't you," said Shiro. The look on Keith's face was enough to answer that question.

"Keith...look he might," Pidge started, before Keith gave her a death glare.

"Don't Pidge. It's over. If he didn't hate me enough for being some weird gay guy in love with him, he definitely hates me now," Keith explained. Pidge sighed again.

"Is that what he told you Keith? Because for some reason I can't really see Lance saying that," said Pidge.

"Yeah what happened?" Added Shiro.

"He said he would rather be in love with someone who didn't exist than someone who lied to him repeatedly," sighed Keith. Both Pidge and Shiro's eyes bulged.

"He said he was in love with you?" They both practically shouted. Keith shook his head quickly.

"Stop it guys. It's over, please just accept that," Keith whined,"Look I don't want to talk right now. I'm going home."

The next week was hell. Keith felt like all the progress he had made completely vanished. In the course of just one school week, he got into ten fights. And they had a new principal who was not willing to put up with Keith like Mr. Curtis had. On top of that Keith had tried to text Lance he was sorry again, but Lance was full on ignoring him. The few times they passed each other in the hallways, Lance didn't even glare at him like he used to. No, instead it was as if Keith didn't exist as much as Kara. Which only fueled Keith to get into even more fights with Lotor's followers.

The whole school not only hated him...they looked at him as if we was a bug to step on. Including the principal. Pidge wasn't there either. Keith had told her to sit at lunch with Lance and Hunk. He didn't want to drag her into his mess anymore. At first she had refused, but once Keith got into his third fight she gave in.

Shiro had picked up shifts at work, and so Keith felt like he barely ever saw him. Keith felt utterly alone. He had gone back to cutting, and he felt himself spiraling out of control.

By the end of the week...Keith was expelled from the Garrison. After everything he'd gone through to avoid that fate...it had happened anyway.

"I'm so sorry Shiro!" Keith cried as they walked out of Garrison high school for the last time.

"Shit I screwed it all up! I can't go back there! I can't go back to the other school district!" Keith sobbed. Shiro was very concerned. All the color had slowly drained away from Keith in the past week till he looked ghostly pale in a way that wasn't good. Keith had about a million bruises and cuts just from fights. And there were the cuts that Shiro didn't know about.

"You won't Keith," Shiro said. Keith looked up at Shiro confused.

"What do you mean? There's no other schools around here," Keith wondered.
