Klance: It's all Pidge's Fault

The Performance

"Keith!! You're here!" Pidge cheered as Keith came into Ms. Fran's classroom.

"Hey Pidge," he said, as Pidge ran over and gave him a hug.

"Are you okay?" She asked him.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Keith said, taking off his jacket, and getting together his costume.

"So what happened?" She asked, nodding to a scar from the fight.

"Lotor and his friend beat up me and Lance. Lotor's also been spreading rumors about me around the school to make my life a living hell. That's not even the worst part...I told Lance I'm gay and I'm love with him and today I'm gonna tell him I'm Kara," Keith admitted. Pidge looked at him in shock.

"Fuck," Pidge sighed.

"I know," agreed Keith,"it's okay though. Right now I'm focusing on the play, and the play only, I'll deal with everything else after."

"That's the right attitude Keith! You're gonna do amazing! You've worked so hard!" Pidge cheered. Keith smiled, and ruffled her hair.

"Thanks Pidge," he said. As Keith got ready, Pidge helped in what ways she could as she got filled in on all the tea.

"So you don't know how lance feels?" She asked as she put on Keith's eyeliner.

"No idea," Keith admitted.

"Maybe he liked you back?"

"No way!"

"Done!" Pidge cheered,"You're all ready Juliet!"

"Thanks Pidge...okay I'm officially forgetting everything. From this moment on...I am Juliet!"

"Yasss Queen!!" Pidge cheered causing Keith to laugh. At that moment Ms. Fran walked into the classroom seeing Keith.

             "Keith thank goodness. Shiro told me everything, I'm so sorry. I'm just glad you're here. And don't worry...I made sure to tell the cast that Kara was still sick, that's why she was going to be late. Oh it just seems like everything is so chaotic right before the big show! We have a Romeo with a black eye and a Juliet with a cut lip. I'm just glad you boys are okay though. Now...go get on stage, places for top of the show. Time to perform," Ms. Fran cheered. Keith nodded, feeling nerves crawl through him. This was it...the big day. The whole reason he had dressed up like a girl in the first place. He wouldn't let Ms. Fran down.

            "She's nowhere in sight!" Lance whined, looking every which way.

             "Lance...she'll be here. I'm sure," Hunk said, trying to ease Lance's nerves. It wasn't working.

            "So uh lance....is Keith coming?" Hunk asked, trying to get Lance's mind off Kara. Lance immediately blushed.

              "Shit I bet he is! And Shiro too! I can't screw this up then!" Lance said.

               "Lance...is your family coming?" Hunk asked hesitantly. Lance gulped, looking away.

                "No," he whispered. Hunk sighed. He was expecting that answer. He didn't know all the details of Lance's home life, but he knew enough to know it wasn't good.

                 "Lance look!" Hunk cheered suddenly. Lance whipped his head around to see Kara.

                 "Kara!" Lance cheered, as him and Hunk rushed over to her.
