I really hate being killed, you know? It's just really inconvenient. It's almost happened before a few times but never really worked. Now someone else is trying to kill me. Now, I realize that what I just said is confusing and you may be wondering how I got into this mess. Let me go back to the beginning so I can explain: I belong to a family of spies. Yes, you heard me right. I, Madelyn Everhart, am a spy. Well, more like I help my parents be spies, but it's practically the same thing. Anyways, that's why I'm here. They wanted information, I didn't give it, so now they have to tie up loose ends. That's spy talk for kill everyone who might snitch, and a giant glass box full of water is a pretty good way to do it. It's ironic really, everything around me is literally burning, and I'm suspended in water. And seeing as how I'm chained to the bottom of said box with no way out, they've won.
But I’ve never really been great at accepting defeat.
Author's note: this is actually a published novel but I don't care about money I just want people to read it so here you go
