Good, I might get a fight in after all. I followed the sound behind the school and in between two portables that were never used. A man and a girl, it looked like they were fighting and the man had a knife. “Oi, La." I shouted to the girl, "You okay? Do you need some help?" The girl nodded her head and so I turned to the guy. "Right, B'y, I'm gonna give you three seconds to sod off." I could tell that he wasn't gonna leave. "One. Two. Three. Okay let's go then. If you want to leave La, it would give you deniability so I don't get in trouble." She ran off as I smiled and jumped on top of the man, expertly landing blows and dodging his street learned fighting. Crap, I forgot he had a knife, he picked it up and drove it into my shoulder, twisting the blade for maximum damage. I rolled off of him and looked at my arm, it didn't look like the knife hit any major body parts. The man wasn't done and to be honest I had kind of forgotten about him while I was checking to see if I was about to bleed out. He stood up and started kicking me, of course I curled up into the fetal position to protect any major body parts. (lungs, brain, abdominal organs that I don’t care enough to list individually.) Because no matter how much training you've had, internal bleeding and broken ribs are not good. I knew that I did the right thing by getting that girl out of there but I had been stupid in picking a fight right then.

The man got either bored or satisfied after a while and left. And I waited for a minute before getting up and walking back to the house. By the time I got there school had just gotten out so I couldn't go inside yet, I waited outside of the house ripping leaves off of the bush beside me. I stayed there until I heard the familiar voices of Noah and Olivia arguing about something stupid and stood up. When they saw me Olivia screamed and covered her eyes, I was confused until I realized that I still had the knife in my shoulder. Yeah, I can see how that could be scary. Once they got over to the door with me I flipped Caleb off (per usual) and went inside. Then I got to work, I went to the kitchen and looked through the cupboards for the alcohol. Okay, I need vodka, a sewing kit and a towel. I told myself. Where the Hell is the alcohol in this house, these people better not be teetotalists. There it was, on top of the fridge. Hallway closet upstairs, I saw a sewing kit in there when I first came. Towels were in the bathroom. I took all three to the bedroom and closed the door behind me.
