Chapter XXIII: Bewildered

In Kendal's POV

The day of Thiago's birthday came quicker than I anticipated. I was currently at home contemplating on what I should for tonight. Maia had gotten off my case a bit, maybe because she was also invited to this party but that wasn't my biggest worry at the moment and to be honest, I didn't really care about her. I just did not want her blabbering off , so I was only sweet to her to keep her silent, I don't think even she noticed I was acting this way but as I said before I couldn't care less as long as she was silent, I was content. David... Cute as always but Thiago was the same always but was too friendly at times, if that was even possible.

Right now, I needed to talk to someone about what has been going on for the past month or so because I felt this was all going to find lead into something big, I needed to talk to someone I could trust and knew wouldn't judge me or if they did they would be able to empathise with me and they were of course my friends... My friends in London I mean. I had planned a MSN web chat with Melanie again, she would probably call Dani over again and God knows who, I didn't even know what the girls have said to my other friends but a lot has changed since I last spoke to them.

"Hey girls! Ashley I wasn't excepting you." I smiled as soon as I saw their little faces on the screen.

"I know but what Dani and Mel had told me what was going on and I need to hear this for myself, I needed to talk to you." Ashley grinned eagerly.

"It's fine, I also wanted to speak you."

"So! Spill the beans!" Dani screeched through the screen.

"Have you guys don't anything else yet?" Mel said as hit Dani for being so loud.

"No, but I did an Elvira."

"What do you mean?" Mel asked in confusion, displaying the same bewildered face as the rest of the girls.

"Last week, David-" Ashley interrupted me.

"David, is 'the guy' right?" She did air quotes as she said the guy. "Sorry for interrupting, these girls were so discreet when they were talking this, but it was mainly because they didn't want know Carmen to know too much, I don't blame them anyway." She shrugged.

"Yes Ash, he is and I don't blame them either, Carmen's cool to some extent but when it comes this sort of discussion, she's weird, I don't want her knowing about this even if I am 1000s of miles away. David called me out of lesson saying that my mum needed me but he really wanted to kiss me."

"No way, I don't know if that's cute or really desperate." Dani smirked.

"Yeah well, we did more than kissing. We got into a stupid fight so this was sort of our make up session." I said as I looked down.

"Did what you were wearing help your situation in anyway?" Ashley wiggled her eyebrows.

"Maybe, I wore crop top, a skirt and no underwear but not for the whole day I only did this during lunch, that would be why he was so desperate."

"God damn Kendal! With your ass you would kill the boy."

"Yeah that's what he said and he couldn't wait until after school for us to make up."

"What is Brazil doing to you girl?!" Dani clapped her hands in astonishment.

"I don't know but that's not what I wanted to talk you about." I unknowingly started to bite my nails, shit! This was bad I only ever bite my nails if I was anxious about something or shit scared.

"Wait, what did you guys do? You're biting your nails, this must be good! Did you get caught?" How many questions could one girl ask? I could of sworn that Dani's voice went up a couple of notes
