Kendal's POV:

Since that lunch, the only thing that remained consistent was that I didn't sit next to David. We became preoccupied with other things that there was literally no need for me to make amends with him because I had already said what I need to say to him.

What had happened with Thiago was a blessing and a curse at the same time.

I didn't realise how much David consumed most of my time until now, I suddenly had more time to do what I wanted to do and did not have to seek permission from someone before doing it. Thiago was much more understanding and realised that just because I wasn't there all the time didn't I mean I was uninterested, just meant I had to prioritise some things more than others at times, which is why I was bare barely sat on the table. Not because I was avoiding him- Okay maybe I was at first but I was generally busy doing to stuff. The stuff that I had pushed aside because I was playing around with David. I didn't actually realise how much work I had to do.

And before you ask... No I am not dating Thiago.

I told him that night was very heated, and shouldn't have happened that like so we take it slow, really, really slow and then that would be great. I mean I knew that he liked me so I didn't want to push him to the side, I also didn't want to know that this was why David and I was not talking.

That's right, the only people who knew the reason why weren't talking was David, Oscar and I and I wanted to keep it that way.

I forgot about this project I had set for myself, I was preoccupied with petty dramas that I completely forgot about it but now I was determined to finish it before November, too much time had been spent on it, I had started with the project the beginning of the year, I was close to finishing it so I decided that today I decided to take a break.

Holding my tray full of food I sat on the table where everyone had already been sitting.

"Oh so you do remember we exist?" Neymar sneered.

"In other words, I missed you too." I chucked as I gave him small hug. I noticed that Maia and David were sitting pretty close together, if I said I did care I would be lying but seeing did not bug me as much as it should of.

Talking about bugging Carolina continued to be nice and pleasant which scared me at first but it was taking too much of my energy to worry and become paranoid. I saw Maia attempt to move away for him because of my enterance but David stopped her.

"So what have you been up to?" Willian asked.

"Well... I didn't realise how much work I left aside so I was really completely those, a couple 1000+ word essays and also some side projects." I puffed my face as I sat on the table.

"Is it the side project the reason why had the bandage around for hand a week ago."

"Yup, glue gun burn."

"When did start this?"

"Um, February I think."

"That long?! You weren't even-"

"I know, I came up with idea in February but I didn't really start until April then I had exams in May and June then I of course I moved here and settling so I think I'm doing okay for time."

"So what is it? Does it have a name?" Oscar asked.

"I don't even know what to call it, the only thing I've certain about it that you break it."

"You're taking that long for something you break in the end?!" Neymar jumped in the conversation.

"Because once you break it, it's supposed to unravel something, I don't know but it will something with a 'deeper message', that's the hard part."
