*Kendal's POV*
"If you girls just hit each other and got over it instead of saying disgusting things about it each other, it hurts less and there's less time spent worry about the whole issue." He chuckled.
"In an ideal world my brother." I laughed with him. "Hey, thanks for today Kal." I gave him a small smile.
"No problem." He returned the smile.

Mum and dad came home a couple of hours later we were sat on the dinner table eating dinner.
"So how was your first school, Kalum?" Mum asked as she passed the bowl of food to Kalum.
"Good I guess, I made a couple of friends." He handed the bowl over to me.
"See I told you it wasn't going to be so bad, going to school here."
"What about you sweetheart? How was your day." I placed bowl down, Kalum had a looked on his face.
"Um... It was different."
"Different how?"
"First all we had to be school at 6:30 and finishing at 12:30 was a weird for me." But in reality I left around 11:30 but I wasn't going to mention that.
"I guess that's right, I bet now you won't complain about being at school from 8:30 back home."
"Yeah."
"But how was your day. Did you meet anyone new?"
"Yeah three girls that were really nice and David and his friends were nice too, I'm actually surprised they're quite popular." I tried to give them a convincing smile but it ended up being an awkward, tight lipped but they didn't seem to notice.
"Really? So I guess you had a good day you then." Kalum just looked at me concerned.
"I guess so."
"Kendal, why aren't you eating as much? I thought this was your favourite dish."
"Yeah, I had something about an hour or two ago."
"Why did eat so late if school finished at 12:30 but it's 6 o'clock right now?"
"Errrr... I feel asleep when I got home then only remembered to eat an hour or two ago."
"Okay, but try not to eat so close to dinner time again."
"Oh okay." I guess I was off the hook for now... It was a matter of time before the school calls mum and dad that I walked out of school early. "How was your day mummy and daddy?" I took a mouthful of food, trying to steer the conversation anymore me.
"I had a feeling nice day at work actually, it couldn't of gone any better surprisingly." Mum said with a smile on her face.
"I could say the same as your mother, actually two of my work collegues have kids that go to your school I think they've around your age. We've even talked about inviting them over for dinner at one point."
"Nice, seems like everyone had a nice day. Could I be excused? I'm finished eating dinner now."
"Sure sweetheart."
"I'll be in my room." I got up and washed my plates.
About 30 minutes later, I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." Kalum poked his head through the door, then slowly entered.
"Are you going to tell mum and dad about what happened today?"
"No."
"Why not? They're going to find out somehow that you did walk out of school."
"Then I'll wait for that day to come, I really can't have them fussing about all of this."
