*Kendal's POV*
"No, it's good news actually... They said he's got 6 months to a year."
"That's great! How does that affect us?"
"We are going to stay here until he passes."
"What?!" I guess I'm going to be seeing a lot more of David.

"I thought it would be better if I told you now than the end of August."
"Wait, you knew that we were going to live before you boarded the flights."
"Yes, I did." he sighed.
"Daddy, that is so unfair!"
"Life is not fair." he said calmly.
"I know that but when a family usually moves location I believe they talk about it before it actually happens, not trick them into thinking them were going a holiday visit."
"But I didn't lie to you, I told you that we're staying here until my dad passes."
"But it's not as simple as that, have you even thought about school and work?"
"Yes, I have actually. Your mother and I happen to work for a multinational company, they've easily transferred to me the Brazilian cooperation."
"Wow, you guys have really thought this through and what about our education?"
"Kenton will go back to London, as he will be starting his first year of university and living on campus there so that's sorted."
"And Kalum and I?"
"You two will go to school here."
"You've got to be kidding me? Dad, I'm supposed to take my GCSE exams this year, I think it would be best if I'm not on the other side of the world! I do want to do my A-Levels and later on go to university!"
"We've got already sorted, I've spoken to the schools already then know about both of your situations and have catered to your needs, exam wise in late April you'll go to London and take your exams there and come back the end of June/early July." I screamed into my pillow, I didn't care I was overreacting. "Kendal stop it, your brothers seem okay with it."
"That's because Kenton is going to go back and Kalum is not going to miss the best year of his school life!"
"I hope if you were a situation similar to mine you would do the same thing for me, I would like to spend quality time with my grandkids before I pass away."
"Well dad, that's not going to happen because we both happen to live in London, and they can spend all the quality they want with you there."
"No never know, things in life change you could end up living in Paris or something."
"Paris? Seriously dad."
"Don't you take French in school? From what I remember you're doing pretty well."
"Yes but just because learning a foriegn doesn't mean I actually know how to speak it."
"I think you take those lessons much more seriously, you never know when it's going to come in handy."
"Whatever..." I mumble.
"I'm just telling you that with decision is final and there is nothing you can do to change that, I'm sorry." he tries a kiss on my forehead, I move my head a bit but he still does it anyway. "Trust me, you'll like it here, you've already made a friend." He leaves my room. I continue to scream into my pillow. He didn't get it, I've been already to be in year 11 all my life and the moment has gone. The best moments in life always happened during the last year of school and I'm going to miss my prom.
