*David's POV*

"I guess one more wouldn-" The door opened.

"I'm sorry I didn't knock, I didn't know you had company but I thought you would be listening to music or something, dinner's ready." said Kalum.

"Thanks Kal, I'll be down in minute." Kalum left and headed downstairs. "I guess that's our cue to leave."

Kendal got up. "Didn't you just hear me, let's go."

"Yeah but you also promised me one more kiss."

"I didn't promise you anything." I pulled her anyway, a bit too much actually she ended up falling onto my lap.

"Now you can't say no." We kissed again, I started to run my fingers through her hair but then she pushed my head away.

"Are you trying to get me into trouble on purpose, you ruined my hair and now I need to fix it." She stood up. "You can go down now, if my parents ask just say I'm using to toilet."

"Okay." I laughed. "Are we good?"

"Hmmm..."

"It's not a no, so I'll take it's a yes!"

"Whatever."

"You have a great singing voice." I chuckled before I left her room.

"Oh shut up!" I her scream through the doors, I just had a huge grin on my face. I headed downstairs where the rest of the family were seated at the dining table.

"Thanks again Kenton, you were right. She was listening to music at full volume actually."

"I've told her so many times that if she continues she'll be deaf by the time she's 25. Where is she actually?" Mrs. C.D. asked

"I think she's in the bathroom."

"Oh right."

"I'm off, my parents are probably wondering where I am."

"Bye David."

"Bye all."

*Kendal's POV*

I came downstairs about 10 minutes later.

"Sorry I took so long, I was using the toilet."

"It's fine." I sat at the dining table. "So what were you guys talking about?" Mum asked passing me a plate.

"Nothing really..." I started to place some food on my plate.

"You know guys could always just stay downstairs and talk."

"Yeah, thanks but no thanks. I don't really fancy the idea of you breathing down our necks whilst we talk so you would filled in the latest scoop."

"Latest scoop about what?"

"About nothing, just about what you're dying to find out."

"Is there something I need to know or that hiding from me?"

"No, not that I know of."

"If you say so..." Was she going to be like this all the time? If so, I need to improve my lying skills.

"Why don't you trust me?" Why did I just say that, I think I just put my foot in my mouth. I mouthful of food to prevent myself from laughing or smirking to make my mum question me more.

"Of course I do, it's just that now becoming older and you know..."

"You know..." I repeated waiting for mum to fully explain what she meant. I knew what she was talking about but I wanted it to hear it come out of my mouth.
