*Kendal's POV*

I washed my face before heading back to class... again.

I had a couple of stares, actually a couple was an understatement, the whole class probably knew what had happened, I shrugged them off and sat down.

The rest of the day painfully passed but I knew that Amélia and Raquel were bursting to know the hot details but were they really willing to here everything, especially about their beloved friend.

"So..."

"So... Wanna take the long way?"

"I would say yes but I'm on my period so could we get a milkshake or something and just sit."

"Even better."

Once we had ordered our milkshakes and other things as they had a really menu, the moment of truth had arrived but suddenly I felt scared.

What if they didn't believe me and thought I was an attention whore.

"What do you want first? Good or bad? I have to tell you the bad news will makes you change your mind on the person."

"Are they close to us?"

"Extremely."

"Oh... I guess bad then? What do you think Amélia?"

"I agree. So let's hear it."

I took a deep breath, this was of their closest friends, who are they to take my side over her's but there was not point in hiding it, the truth will come out sooner than later and I would rather give them the entire story (from my point of view of course) but not bits and pieces from second and third hand gossip, they would be able to ask Maia for her truth and I won't stop them from doing so.

"It's a long story..."

"And we can get another milkshake."

"Yes, now starts I've been so anxious the entire day just dying to find out."

"I'm going to sound so stupid."

"We'll be the judge of that." I just felt the overwhelming sensation to cry.

"Sorry, I was just joking. This is a judgement free zone!" Amélia began to rub my back, to console me.

"Okay, but I guess today's lunchtime will make sense now. You know there's always been this weird triangle between David, Thiago and I. It's officially over, I've decided that it's all too much for me and I would like to be with someone that had my best intentions at heart."

"That's great... but isn't this supposed to be the bad news?"

"I'm coming to that... I no longer associate myself with David, the only relationship we'll have is as mutual friends."

"Oh that's pretty sad."

"Is that why he did that? Because he couldn't handle the news?"

"Not exactly, but one question?"

"Shoot."

"Who else do we know apart from me has or had a crush on David?"

"Um me?" Amélia and I raised our eyebrows.

"What?! I mean who hasn't had a crush on the 5? This was before I met you anyway, I just thought he along with Willian were the least intimidating."

"That is true, why was I shocked I knew that already."

"Fair enough, plus there's wrong that, I was actually thinking more of the lines of Maia."

"Oh, well, I don't think she's ever really had a crush on him, I just think she loves the idea of being with a footballer more than anything. In the three years I've known her she's not said anything having a crush or liking him, just wishing that she was popular like... Carolina."
