Chapter IX: Windows Live Messenger

*David's POV*

"Don't count it, trust me." Carolina finally started to make her way out.

"You know where I am."

"Don't expect any visits from me anytime soon." I shut the door, then sighed. I'm gonna need to call Kendal and see whether she's met Carolina and give her and heads up before she does anything stupid.

"David! Come and try on this blazer for Mateo's wedding on Friday." I sighed.

"Coming ma!" I guess Kendal could wait for now.

-The following day-

I literally went through every single item of clothing I ever had in my room, I didn't even want to go to this stupid, well, not stupid wedding. I could be doing better things on a Friday afternoon, I'm only really going so Thiago would have someone talk during the ceremony and reception party. I didn't want him to be bombarded with family members he failed to remember and also I heard was going to be really good there.

It's crazy to think that Mateo was only 23 and was already getting married, but then again, the people around here do get married pretty early. Not that I thought that there was something without getting married at a young age, I just wouldn't want to rush into anything so fast without really knowing really you love the person or you're just infatuated with them.

I think I'll just go over to Kendal's house tomorrow, I mean, she did come over without me knowing, so I guess I'll drop a surprise visit.

*Kendal's POV*

I couldn't believe that I was going to see Melanie and Danielle again; it had been about a month since I had seen a friend of mine. I occasionally texted my friends, but the international text/call rates were so expensive, so we organised a time when we were both free, so we would go on MSN the same time. I check the time on a laptop, 15:13... So it would be 5:13 over there. I was surprised to learn that there was only a two-hour difference between São Paulo and London. They should be on by now. I logged onto my MSN account and opened up Messenger. I scanned through my contact list and I checked to see whether Dani or Mel was online. Mel was only online, so I assumed Dani was there with her.

I didn't get to press start new chat, I had already received a message from Mel.

corpuzfernandes: HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! and Dani is also here but heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

kenny: Hey :) I miss you guys.

corpuzfernandes: well that's your own damn fault for leaving us here :'( This was clearly Dani typing.

kenny: Hey! No need to be so mean Dani and Mel why is your display name your last name?

corpuzfernandes: I trying to avoid someone they have my email address, I don't have their's so I can't block them.

kenny: Typical Melanie problems.

corpuzfernandes: Ikr! (Definitely, Dani again)

kenny: Please include your first name or something, I feel like I'm talking to your mum here.

melcorpuz: Happy? I don't think they know Corpuz is my last name as well, so I assume that they should be confused when they see this name and delete me, since he calls me Fernando Torres because Fernandes is last name, which is fucking stupid.

Oh, I knew who she was talking about.

kenny: Wait, he hasn't left you alone, he is such a dumbass. So when Madam the register and she calls out the register and says my name first, then yours, did he think Cavalcante jumped all the way to Fernandes? What the hell happened to the others with surnames starting with C-F?
