Groaning in pain, Kayden sat up slowly and feebly tried to twist his arm to inspect the wound, screaming in pain. Luckily, due to Angeline being a trash shooter, she had missed Kayden's vital organs and therefore, spared his life by an inch. (at least i made him suffer - Angeline) Knowing that his life would come to an end soon if he did not get any treatment, Kayden got to his stomach and started crawling away back to his division (he could have made a better choice by going to the sick bay, but who cares?). Just then, Adley came running over, panting. "ADLEY! HELP! SOME DERANGED KILLER SHOT ME AND TRIED TO KI-" Kayden's words were unexpectedly cut off by a finger to his lip. "Shh..." Adley muttered under his breath, hoisting Kayden up and walking towards the sick bay as quietly as he could. No one in his division could know what he was doing. No one.
"What in the- What happened?" The nurse yelped in shock when she saw Kayden bleeding continuously. "Red Code! All staff to assist at bay 1! We have an emergency!" She yelled some instructions into the intercom and ran off, only to appear again in a few seconds with an intravenous drip. Quickly poking it into Kayden's other arm, the nurse was soon joined by another dozen people in white vest, running down the hallway to place Kayden into a hospital bed. "Kayden, hang in there! You'll be fine," Adley yelled helplessly after them, hoping with all his heart that Kayden would turn out okay. After making sure that Kayden was in a stable condition, Adley ran back to his division office, trying to wipe whatever he had just seen away from his mind.
But Ngiam's World for him would never be the same again.
