And his sole goal was to end it.
But it was not as simple as joining a side and slaughtering the rest. He resolved to end it fairly as he believed strongly in equality. But he was different from the rest. He knew it himself.
His goal needed to come with a sacrifice.
At the edge of the Polar Cliff, Adley's favourite spot to ponder over his troubles, he sat. In deep thought he was; he knew he had to do something quick. He gazed upwards at the North Star, hoping fervently he could stop this strife between the three divisions. "How idiotic this war is," He muttered under his breath.. Frustrated, he contemplated leaping over the cliff, into the sea, into his death. He looked down at the sea below the cliff. The waves brushed gently against the shoreline.
It was the first time in 10 years that he had grinned.
Decisively, he jumped off the cliff. But he did not die, to his very surprise. Instead, a portal came and swallowed him whole, transporting him to Alyssa's division's office.
That was the first time Adley discovered his powers.
