"Everyone back?" Deverlon asked loudly, his eyes scanning the office.
"Seems like it," Duoduo muttered, not even looking up from the book whose world she was immersed in.
"Hang on a second. Where's Kayden Tay?" Yifan asked, for the first time talking about something completely unrelated to blue bananas.
"Ahh... Kayden..." Deverlon sighed. "Everyone. New mission. Find Kayden. We have something important to do."
Everyone excluding Duoduo leaped into action, not hearing Deverlon yell, "AND BY THAT I MEAN KAYDEN TAY, NOT KAYDEN LEE, OKAY?"
And to think he was missing. Just because of a psychopath.
Unbeknownst to them, Adley was watching. "You bozos owe me one. For I saved one of your lives."
