Kayden Lee adjusted his collar, sweating profusely as he approached Guanjun's division. He wanted to quickly settle this before he called the nearest trauma specialist for Leanne (whom he secretly admired).
He eased into the division's turnstile.
The moment he trudged in, Alyssa's division turned towards him, and Samuel crumpled to the ground.
Alyssa pointed a crazed finger towards Kayden Lee and screamed, "You killed Heather!"
Kayden Lee sighed. "I know. I just wanted to say that Leanne's in your division's office right now..."
But it was too late. Alyssa's division rushed toward him. All of Alyssa's division except one. It was safe to say no one knew Adley wasn't there. But it was not like anybody cared. They just wanted Heather back.
It was shockingly ominous.
Without missing a beat, Kayden Lee pivoted toward Guanjun's supervisor office, drew a gun from within his suit coat and aimed it carefully at the pillar that sat in the corner, then pulled the trigger. Timothy, who was obscured by the pillar, startled and reflexively recoiled, exposing himself to Alyssa's and Guanjun's division members.
"Hey! That's the division we declared war on!" shouted Emma Fang. Momentarily distracted by the sweaty newcomer, namely Timothy, Kayden Lee seized the opportunity to slip out of the turnstile and whizzed toward a taxi heading for the nearest doctor's office, as arguments and reproaches ensued among the divisions.
