Heather found a glowing orb next to her, laid next to the Statue of the Seven that she woke up in front of.
"A Cryo vision..." Heather mumbled, picking it up. "This is the one that Emma Fang gave me in P6! I carried it with me all the time..."
She picked up her sword. Focusing on drawing the power from her vision, Heather released a cold strike with her blade. Satisfied, a smirk formed on her face.
A few months later...
Heather was in the Grand Bazaar, buying food for the day. She walked past Zubayr Theater, listing down the things she needed to buy.
"Eggs, vegetables, more writ-"
A soft and childlike voice appeared in her head. "Outlander, you are not from this world, and yet you have been blessed by the archons of Teyvat. Meet me at our spot."
"Lesser Lord...Kusanali?"
The voice vanished as quickly as it appeared. Being an avid Genshin fan, Heather recognised the innocent tone immediately. She raced out of the marketplace, heading out to the Sanctuary of Surasthana.
"Finally, you've arrived. I am Lesser Lord Kusanali, the deity of Sumeru and the Archon of Wisdom. You might not know me, but I've actually been watching you for a long time, hehe. It's nice to meet you. Also, you can call me Nahida. Titles make me feel stuffy," the deity smiled.
Heather watched in awe, mouth agape. "Lesse- Nahida, I heard your voice in my head. What did you call me for?" She tried her best to compose herself, but there was a slight quiver in her tone.
"Despite not being of this world, you have been blessed by the gods. You are able to traverse through space and time from our universe to yours, on one condition – you have to die" Nahida stated, her arms crossed in seriousness.
"Isn't that easy?" Heather asked. "I can just kill myself and go back and forth!"
Nahida shook her head. "Sadly, that isn't the case – at least for the first few times. You see, you don't have control over this travelling thing. The moment you die, regardless of whether you want it or not, you will be teleported to the next world. You're also unable to control the time period that you end up in. It's truly a miracle that you ended up in this time period, so that I can explain all of this to you."
"I see..." Heather pondered as thoughts clouded her head. "I need to get back to my world soon. I need to save my company. So...I just need to die in this world?"
"You'll have to be incredibly lucky. Thankfully, I can lend you some of my luck. (tgcf reference hehehehe) I can also give you a painless death." Nahida nodded. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Heather nodded, a determined look on her face.
"Alright. I hope I can meet you again soon, Heather. It's truly a pleasure to be able to be in the presence of Teyvat's 5th Descender." The archon reached out her hand, and powerful Dendro magic surrounded Heather.
And with that, Heather was transported back to this world.
