Missing him

"What happened? Did he hurt u?" Mai asked while escorting me to the parking lot. I had to take a day rest today after a 24hrs lock up with P'Mew

"I'm perfectly fine Mai, please don't worry about me!" I assured her.

"About ur finger, what happened?"

"I accidentally cut myself!"

She gave me a doubtful glare.

" Why would I lie to u? " I complained

" B'se u're in love Mew! " She spat.

I tried to compress my smile, not after all the drama I encountered b'se of him

"Mmmmh, something smells fishy!!"

We burst into laughter and before I could get in the car, I saw Fiat walking to our direction. I had to wait for him.

"Hey Gulf, are u okay?" He's worried

"I'm fine, thank you. What about u?"

"I was just worried about u!"

"Um, excuse me!" Mai went away.

"I'm perfectly fine!" I assured him.

"Um! Gulf, why did u shift the office? "

I sighed heavily.

" The M. D suggested that interns should be separated from staff" I lied

" What about us? Are u still thinking?"

He hugged me tightly. I just let him.

I pushed him slightly so he could face me. He couldn't look me in the eyes as he disappeared from my sight, weird!

~To the mansion~

I dropped from the car and marched in the house. It was all peaceful until wen I met with Kaownah's disgusting face!

I passed by him, not wanting to speak.

" How's boss Mew doing?" He asked

I scoffed. He really knows to piss me!

"What do u expect to hear?"

"Relived, after learning the truth!"

"Then trust me, he's more than relived. All credits to ur superhero act, happy?"

Then I left him there, dumbfounded.

I reached my room and threw my lazy body on the bed. I closed my eyes to remember the flashback this morning
