Liz bound into Jin's side as soon as the other males beast pressure was released, even though he hadn't released his yet, she could feel the angry vibes coming off of him but his beast pressure didn't affect her because they're mates

"Jin! You must be psychic or something! You showed up just in time. I was afraid they were going to try and beat me up or something." Liz exclaimed as she rubbed her face against him and clung to his fur, Jin growled his disapproval at the thought of anyone laying a finger on her and his whole body tensed.

"They wouldn't have harmed you, little Liz." Beau reassured.

"Ha. Like I'd believe that for a second." She mumbled as facetiously as possible with an overextended eye roll.

"He's right. They wouldn't have risked injuring a female, especially not a pure female, because they'd be driven from the tribe... But they would have beaten up your male until you admitted your wrong." Teela explained with a worried expression and Liz snapped her head up into attention as she stared in shock at the female before she tore her eyes away to take in the look of upset, bitter, disgusted, unhappy agreement on everyone's faces.

Beau refused to meet her gaze, though he was happy the other female had mistaken him as Liz's mate, but on the other hand he felt ashamed that he wasn't actually strong enough to protect her, physically or emotionally. If those males had attacked him he would have stood no chance, maybe against one but definitely not against three, especially since two of the three were tigers and physically stronger than him. Beau's best chance would have been to escape... If it weren't for the fact the third male was a wolf beastman, their speeds would have likely matched if not leaned in the wolf's favor, unless Beau could have made it to his tunnels, then none of the males save for another fox or potentially a rabbit could have caught him.

"I... I didn't mean too... I'm sorry." Beau was pulled out of his thoughts by the remorse in Liz's voice and Jin tried to comfort her by rubbing his head against her back.

"You did nothing wrong. Don't be upset." Beau quickly closed the distance between them and brushed her damp hair over her shoulder, but Liz creased her eyebrows as she gazed up at him.

"No lying... I may not have been 100% wrong but I definitely wasn't 100% right. I shouldn't have antagonized her." Liz admitted, internally repremanding herself for the unnecessary hostility she caused. The other males listened on in shock at how docile and reasonable the sheltered female was being, while Beau took her admission like a punch to the gut, leaving him feeling weak, useless and like he'd failed her.

Jin on the other hand was furious but also torn, he wanted to shift back, hold her tight in his arms and tell her she could antagonize anyone she wanted to because he would always support her... What stopped him was a jolt of reality, the memory of what happened before and what almost happened now. Jin knew it was untrue to say he would always be with her in potentially dangerous situations, of course he truly hoped he would be, but it was better for her to be able to recognize and avoid those dangers in the future.

"You shouldn't feel badly. Tanya came here looking for a fight." A rich sturdy womanly voice with a slightly raspy timber spoke, drawing everyone's attention to the young female with long straight black hair, surprisingly her voice didn't quite match her innocent look. Now that Liz was actually getting a good look at her she noticed it wasn't just her hair that was eye-catching, her eyes were almond shapes and her thick dark lashes gave her a natural smokey cat eye look that was sultry, sexy and mysterious, though being the youngest and smallest female still gave her an innocent child-like vibe.

"What do you mean, Olivia?" Serena asked defensively.

"Exactly what I said. She heard the sheltered female left her territory without her three striped male and Tanya and Harper came and got me. She told me to bring a few males just in case, so I knew she was coming to cause trouble." The girl, Olivia, explained.
