Chapter 16 It's Love Right!

A cold breeze entered the room as the big windows were opened wide.

The sun had set in the sky and the moon replaces it in its place shining on half the world giving light instead of the sun.

Seeing the bright full moon and sparkling stars like diamonds in the sky, was truly a fascinating sight.

A perfect night to stargaze and cuddle with your beloved. Except for single dogs who can only sleep alone for being the single dog they were.

"Please enjoy." 

Du Hexi stood beside Hua Meili like the diligent butler he is after setting the table.

Sitting in front of a long rectangular table, Hua Meili sat on the host seat while Guo Zhongcheng and Zhongcheng Qingren sat beside her.

Hua Meili had long wanted to eat with the two of them but the duo or more likely Zhongcheng Qingren kept on refusing like an overly zealous husband who knew that his wife is going to get stolen from him if he let the leech stay.

Hua Meili thought that she would still be unsuccessful, but today seemed to be different than the usual days. 

With her persistence and trump card on hand, Hua Meili persuaded Guo Zhongcheng to stay and eat with her.

Knowing that Guo Zhongcheng is a car maniac, Hua Meili coaxed Guo Zhongcheng easily.

Promising to let him use the other modified car, which is exclusive just for her, which had a different design and material used differently from the car that he was driving if only the two of them would eat with her from now on.

Being the car maniac he was who can even sell himself just to hold his baby car, Guo Zhongcheng quickly agreed.

He said that he will lose nothing and instead will have a full belly if they eat with her.

Hua Meili just laughed at how cute Guo Zhongcheng could be.

"We already bought it, I stored it in the Garage." Zhongcheng Qingren replied indifferently.

He tried to be indifferent to his surroundings but seeing the two being so close together, he could not mask the jealousy he was feeling.

Every now and then while they chat, a hint of jealousy would appear in his voice and expression even though he has facial paralysis. 

Somehow, Hua Meili could tell that he was jealous.

Seeing this jar of vinegar brimming to the brim, she could only sigh helplessly.

So, she decided to tease the two to end this farce.

It's been a long time already, so why not end it now?

"So, when's the wedding?" Hua Meili smiled mischievously.

Guo Zhongcheng was puzzled at what Hua Meili was talking about that he stared at her for a while.

While Zhongcheng Qingren stared at her with wide eyes, he looked like he had realized something.

Looking at this stupid couple, Hua Meili's smile deepened.

"What? You still haven't decided on when's your wedding yet?"

Hua Meili continued to tease the two and elbowed Guo Zhongcheng who finally realized what she meant and blushed out of embarrassment.

After a few seconds, Zhongcheng Qingren recovered from his facial paralysis and gave Hua Meili a somehow faint but friendly smile.

"H-how did y-you know?!"
