Chapter 43 Leaving Without Telling? Not A Chance!

"Ahh.."

Sunshine past through the curtains brightening the room inside, the sun was so bright that it hurts the eye.

"My lady, wake up. The sun had risen so much, you are already late for breakfast."

Du Hexi fixed the curtain and help Hua Meili up. 

With her eyes still closed, he help her fix the stray strands of her hair sticking out of her head.

Hua Meili woke up in a daze and found Du Hexi's enlarged face in front of her, he was looking at her intently. 

Grabbing beside her, she found the space beside her empty.

She could tell by the cold covers that he had left her there for a long time already.

Looking at the clock situated on top of the table beside her bed, she found out that it was already 9:00 o'clock in the morning.

Standing up, she did some morning exercise and took a bath.

She changed into a cute white dress with butterfly designs surrounding the skirt, and with the help of Du Hexi, her hair was tied up into a ponytail using a hair tie with a dangling bell as a design. 

Du Hexi pulled out a pair of white doll shoes with a small butterfly design on them and help her put them on.

"Do you like it, my lady?" 

Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she smiled satisfied with her looks.

"Thank you, Hexi." 

Hua Meili sweetly smiled.

"My lady's happiness is my happiness. This servant will do anything just to see my lady happy." Du Hexi politely bowed.

Hua Meili laughed.

"What a sweet talker."

Du Hexi stared at her for a while before giving her his usual polite smile.

"I am your Shadow."

Going downstairs, she saw everyone gathered in the living room discussing something serious.

She lifts an eyebrow walking towards them.

"Let's tell Xiao Mei your plan first."

Hua Meili heard Guo Zhongcheng say when she walked near them.

They did not notice her presence even when she was already standing behind them seeing how focused they were on their discussion. 

She did not speak, she just listens.

Guo Zhongcheng was crossing his arms in front of his chest while leaning on his chair, he looked at Zhongcheng Qingren.

"I agree, we should tell her."

Zhongcheng Qingren also supported what Guo Zhongcheng said. He knew that his Boss, Hua Meili must definitely know what these people are planning.

He knew firsthand just how dangerous it is outside so he did not want for them to go out foolishly without Hua Meili knowing.

If she knew that they went out without her knowing, she would go ballistic when they leave without any explanation.

"Why do we need her permission anyway!" Lian Pian disagreed.

She was furrowing her eyebrows as she makes a stand among the group. 

She does not understand why they must ask for that little slut's permission first before getting into action!
