Jungkook has Luna by the arm as they walk down the street. Since it's Friday night and lots of people are out later than usual he insisted on taking back roads with less lighting to get to the portal location in the woods.

"Why did you get me the cheapest pair of contacts?" Luna complains rubbing her eye.

"Be glad you only need it for one eye," Jungkook says unsympathetically. "They were the only red ones in the store."

"They itch."

"Shut up," he says stopping in his tracks between two large trees. "A couple of rules before we go. Don't talk to anyone unless they talk to you. Don't wander off anywhere. I can't help you if you do. And like I said before, do not bleed anywhere! Got it? No one can know that you're part human. Don't do anything without me next to you. Ok?"

"Got it," she nods.

"Now hold on."

"Hold on to what?"

"Me," he says taking her arms and wrapping them around his neck. "I'm not responsible for whatever happens to you if you let go during transport."

He tightly wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her close into his chest. His chest that she hadn't realized was so solid and chiseled. Something about all of this has her barely able to make a sound. All she can do is nod signaling her understanding.

"Close your eyes," he says softly in her ear.

As soon as she does she can feel a sudden burst of energy surrounding her. It feels as if a gust of wind is hitting her at airplane speeds. She wants to open her eyes to see what's going on around her, but before she can the force stops and Jungkook loosens his grip around her.

"We're here," he says.

She opens her eyes to a dark area that almost looks like a subway terminal. There are no lights aside from small dim bulbs lining the floor just enough for someone to see where they're going and not much else. She blinks a few times adjusting to the lack of light when she realizes something with her vision is very different.

"You're not going to pass out again are you?" Jungkook asks trying to read her expression.

"No, I'm just trying to adjust." She looks around a bit more. "Is this the subway?"

"I guess you can look at it that way," he says. "It's where all of the transfer portals are. At least all of the legal and official ones."

"So you ride a train to the human world?"

"More like riding a brainwave."

"How does that work? I mean, how were you able to take me on your brain wave."

"I spent my entire life training as a royal shield. Not as a scientist. I have no idea how it works I just know it does."

"Jungkook. Small brain. Knows very little. Noted," she teases.

"Shut up and let's go," he huffs. "Now promise you won't freak out or anything."

"Promise. Why would I freak out?"

Just then he closes his eyes then opens them to reveal his natural eyes. They're much larger and a deep red, much deeper than the red in her eye. His fangs which were already small and pointed have grown even longer and sharper. His ears have also grown pointed just barely poking through his dark curls that hang down the sides of his face.

"Oh my god!" She gasps.

"You promised you wouldn't freak out!"

"But Jungkook, your eyes! They're so big!"
