Luna isn't sure what's happening. She was almost certain she had passed out again. Did he just...kiss her? Then asked her to stay with him? In Korealis? As a full vampire?

"I don't think that's what I meant to say," Jungkook says shyly but still pressed against Luna's forehead. "But I guess it's what I wanted to say nonetheless. What I wanted to do..."

"Jungkook, I..." Luna looks into his big red eyes shaking ever so slightly from nervousness. She can't even finish her sentence. Hell, she doesn't even know what she was going to say anyway.

"You don't have to answer me now," he says pulling away and removing his hand from her cheek. "But can you at least think about it?"

"Yeah," Luna nods. "I'll think about it."

"I should get you down before you find a way to hurt yourself," he chuckles standing. "Come on."

He reaches his hand out to her and helps her to her feet.

"Hold on tight," he says holding her around the waist.

She nods and wraps her arms around him as she has many times before. Every time he's taken her through portals she's held on to his neck and he'd hold on to her waist. Every time he opted to take her somewhere by jumping roofs they would hold each other just like this.

Right now though, right now it feels like the first time. Except this time she's not scared and mildly creeped out by him. She's safe with him. She's comforted by his strong arms holding her tightly.

He makes a quick leap down to the ground but he doesn't let go of her right away. She doesn't let go either. For whatever reason her brain isn't sending the signal to her arms. She can only look at him and wonder. Why does this have to be such a complicated situation?

"Are you going to let go?" He smiles.

"Right," she says finally releasing his neck. "Let's go."

Back in Jungkook's room Luna shows him the note his father left. He looks it over then throws it away with a huff.

"What are you going to do about that?" Luna asks. "What would he do to me?"

"Let me worry about him," he says laying across the bed. "But if he touches you at all he'll learn just how strong I am."

"You'd fight him for me?" She asks with a teasing smile.

"I'd fight him for a loaf of bread, don't go thinking you're extra special or something," he chuckles.

"I am way more special than a loaf of bread," she pouts with her hands on her hips.

"Whatever you say, LuLu."

"You really are the spawn of satan."

"Yeah no shit, you've met my dad," he jokes.

"I guess I can't argue with that," she laughs. "But really, what do we do? He's pretty clear in his letter about you not being around peasants like me."

"Peasants," Jungkook chuckles leaning up on his arms. "Peasants shouldn't worry about such things."

"I'm going to worry anyway," she says sitting next to him. "How could I not? He looked like he wanted to kill me."

"You seem more worried about him killing you than you do about the portal that is literally killing you."

"Touché."

"Come on, LuLu, why are you being like this?" He whines. The first time she's ever heard this tough bunny whine. "It's like you don't even care if you live or not. What is it? Because I'm losing years off my life trying to figure it out."
