Things have quickly gone from bad to worse for Jungkook. When his father told him he had the support of the public, he didn't realize just how much support he had. The guilt is crushing him. Luna tried explaining to him that she understands, but he shouldn't feel guilty when he has nothing to do with his father's treasonous agenda. She gets him calmed down a little and he vows to tell the King first thing in the morning.

The King wants to see Jungkook and Luna now though. Only two short hours after returning home, a guard came by to escort the two of them to see the King. Jungkook is beyond nervous. He's never had to be escorted by a guard to see the King before. He can only think the worst right now and it makes him feel like he's walking to his execution.

Luna has no idea what's about to happen. So much has already happened that she hasn't even had the time to process it all. There are things that happened and things that she noticed that haven't even registered in her mind as being real yet. She feels like she's floating through a dream. No, a nightmare.

The guard brings them to the King's room. Not his bedroom, but his war room. The room where he conducts serious business. The room Jungkook has always been afraid of because there was always a punishment being handed down in this room. Now he and Luna are standing there before the King afraid of what's to come. The King is maintaining a straight face which doesn't help them determine how bad this meeting is about to be. It feels as if the oxygen has been sucked out of the room.

"Luna," the King says without changing expression. "Are you ok?"

"Y-yes," Luna stutters. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" He presses. "I know you've had trouble before with your portal being used. If you are feeling any adverse effects let me know."

"No," Luna says shaking her head. "I'm fine this time."

"No weakness or dizziness?"

"No."

"That's good," the King says relieved. "I've been waiting for the right time to do this, but it seems I have no choice but to do this now. As you know, we still need to close your portal. We have a team setup and a plan worked out to make it happen, however I was waiting to make sure you would be able to handle the amount of people we need to send through you. I wish we had more time to test it out, but with today's incident I believe it's best we move forward with getting the portal shut down for good."

"Oh. Ok," Luna says scared and relieved at the same time.

"In order to do this, we'll have to keep you in a special location until the operation is complete. I have a team working on getting the place setup now so you can be as comfortable as possible the entire time."

"How long will it take?" Luna asks.

"Our initial calculations estimate it to take 4-6 weeks, but that could be longer or shorter depending on how things go once they're in there."

"4 to w-what?" She stutters.

"I know," the King says. "But it must be done, especially after today."

Jungkook opens his mouth but no sound comes out. He wants to protest but he knows it's the right decision. The portal needs to be closed. But the 4-6 weeks has him about to go into cardiac arrest.

"I know, Jungkook," the King says reading his face. "That's why I'm allowing you to stay with her. Someone needs to monitor her to ensure there are no complications. The place needs to be setup with enough space for any work equipment they may need. Since it's a bit of a lengthy operation we want to make the place feel like home so you will have a full living suite with an entire kitchen and bathroom. You won't be able to leave so if you need anything you can ask the guards and they'll bring it to you, or you can send Jungkook," he winks.
