The next morning Luna wakes up to the sound of Jungkook rustling around in the room. She looks up and he's got a small table setup with a cooktop and pot on the other side of the room.
"What are you doing?" Luna mumbles.
"Finally, you're awake," Jungkook says walking over to her. "Breakfast is almost ready."
"Breakfast?"
"You said you wanted ramen last night, so there's ramen here for you."
"You actually went and got me ramen?"
"No," he says sharply. "Hobi hyung brought it."
"Oh, well thanks for cooking it I guess."
"Do you still feel weak? Or nauseous?"
"Just a little weak, but I think I'll be ok."
"Good. Get your food," he says going back to the pot of ramen and turning the stove top off.
"You're not going to bring it to me?" She asks sitting all the way up.
"You said you'd be ok," he smirks, though she can't see it with his back still turned to her.
"Wow," she huffs shaking her head. "I guess I shouldn't have expected anything more from a demon bunny."
"Get your food before this demon bunny throws you across the kingdom," he hisses.
"Why did you agree to take care of me if you're just going to be a dick about it?" She gets up slowly shuffling across the room.
He watches her make her way towards him and he can't help but laugh. When she approaches him she growls and he steps aside while chuckling.
"You do look like you're getting better," he says watching her spoon a bit of ramen into a bowl.
"Are you a doctor now?" She snarks.
"No, I just know more about the healing power of this world than you do," he smiles.
"Healing power?" She asks stuffing a wad of noodles into her mouth. "Your vampire shit nearly killed me!"
"That's because the human in you tried to fight back. It's like your body is having an identity crisis when you're here. The vampire part of you can handle all of that blood, but your human side remembered that you're human and fought back."
"But my vampire side has never done anything when I'm doing human stuff. Why don't I melt in the sun when I go to the beach in the summer?"
"Melt? We don't melt! We...turn to ash. But that's not the point, LuLuLuna!"
"Luna!"
"Why is your name so long? It's such a hassle to say."
"Because it's not-"
"Most of us have one or two syllable names, why did your parents choose that?"
"It's not-"
"You need a nickname. Can I call you LuLu for short?"
"No, you can call me Luna because that's my name!"
"Anyway," he says shaking his head to get back on track. "What I'm trying to say, LuLu, is that your vampire side is so weak in the human world that it never really made you think twice. Except for that crazy ass red eye you have, that you were fooled into thinking was a birth defect."
"What else could it be if no one knows vampires are even real?"
"Clearly someone in your family knows because you literally came out as HALF A VAMPIRE!" He shouts grabbing her shoulders. "Use your head, LuLu!"
