Jungkook watches as the blood on Luna's elbow trails down her arm. He knows her blood has no scent so hopefully no one will pick up on it, but he has no idea what to do.
"It's not a big deal," Luna says noticing the unease on his face. "Just give me a bandaid, I'll be fine."
"A bandaid?" Jungkook asks. "Why would you think we have bandaids here?"
"I don't know," she shrugs. "What do you people do when you cut yourself?"
"We regenerate."
"Oh. Well fuck."
"Just...I don't know...shit." He paces a bit until he hears a sound down the hall. "Fuck."
Without thinking he does the first thing his heart guides him to do. He lifts Luna's arm and quickly slides his tongue up her entire forearm, taking up all of the blood and sucking on her scrape just long enough to ease the bleeding.
He looks at her as she stares back wide eyed and speechless. He's tasted lots of blood throughout his life. Some good, some bad. The one drop he had from her before wasn't enough for him to indulge in the taste, only enough to know it wasn't pure human. But now, though still not much, the taste is unlike anything he's ever experienced.
Every one of his already immaculate senses have been instantly enhanced. He can feel his entire body swell with strength far beyond anything he's felt before. What was her blood doing to him? He's immediately addicted and he can't even figure out why. All he can do is continue staring at her saying nothing. As bad as he wants to sink his teeth in her and get another taste, he has to restrain himself, which is proving to be difficult.
"Maybe we should just get some sleep. It's late anyway," he says softly.
"Right," she says still in shock. "Where do I sleep?"
"You can sleep in the bed."
"And where will you sleep?"
"The bed."
"The bed? With me?" She asks furrowing her brow.
"Yeah," he says seemingly clueless as to why she's questioning it. "It's big enough for both of us."
"Umm...I'll just sleep on the couch."
"Really? Are you sure?"
"I'm not sleeping in the bed with you."
"Suit yourself," he says throwing himself on his bed.
Luna sighs as she makes herself comfortable on the couch. She was partially hoping he would be a gentleman and offer the bed to her and he'd sleep on the couch, but instead she's laying across the cushions trying to find a good position. It's difficult to fall asleep in such an unfamiliar place, but eventually she's finally able to drift off.
Meanwhile, Jungkook remains awake staring at his ceiling. There's no way he can fall asleep right now. Not only is his mind racing, but her blood has him feeling like he could stay up for 72 hours straight. Is it the mix of human blood and venom that makes it so incredible?
He hears Luna lightly snoring on the couch. For some reason he finds it cute. He gets out of bed and slowly approaches her trying not to disturb her. He carefully takes her into his arms and places her in the bed. He tucks her under the blanket and quietly leaves the room.
Jungkook heads down the hall with no destination in mind. He figures he'll just go wherever his legs take him. Somehow that ends up being the roof of his quarters. He sits there a long while stuck in thought.
The roof is a place he enjoys going at times when he just wants to be alone and think. He's the only one with the strength to jump to the roof so he doesn't have to worry about anyone bothering him.
