Awake

"Hoseok hyung says come down and stop hiding," Taehyung says climbing up to the roof where Jungkook is still sitting in his bunny form.

Jungkook resists at first staying put in his spot. He doesn't want to be bothered right now. Taehyung won't let him off easily though. He approaches Jungkook and scoops him into his arms. Jungkook lightly bites Taehyung's arm and jumps from his grasp. He changes back to his normal form, though he's not happy about it.

"Fine fine, I'm coming," Jungkook says.

They go down from the roof and meet Hoseok in the hall. Jimin is also there wanting to check in on Luna. It's the middle of the night so the rest of the guys are likely still asleep. Somehow the four of them are always the ones awake at the craziest hours.

"Did you just leave her alone in your room after she woke up?" Hoseok asks.

"I needed air," Jungkook grumbles leading them to his room.

He opens the door where they find Luna in the bed thumbing through one of the photo albums she took from her parents house. She looks up and gives the guys a faint smile.

"See, she's ok," Jungkook says.

"Luna," Jimin says approaching the bed. "I'm so glad you're awake. How are you feeling?"

"Confused, but I'm ok I guess. Just a little weak," Luna says as Jimin takes her hand into his.

"Is there anything you need? Are you hungry or hurting anywhere?"

"She's fine," Jungkook mumbles.

"I'll bring you something to eat, it'll help you get your strength back." Jimin softly moves a lock of hair behind her ear causing Jungkook to silently grit his teeth.

"You're sweet," Luna smiles.

"Look," Jungkook says moving Jimin aside and sitting next to Luna. "Right now you need to drink blood to regain your strength and also hopefully keep the portal from growing any faster."

"Ugh," Luna gags thinking of the last time she drank blood.

"Yeah, I know, but you have to."

"I don't want to."

"Would you rather me pour it down your throat like I've been doing the past few days?"

"What? You've been pouring blood down my throat?!"

"I was trying to get you to wake up!"

"You couldn't come up with another way??"

"You need it to live!" He fusses.

"Is that why my mouth tastes funny?"

"You're welcome!"

"You two are the worst," Taehyung laughs.

"It's demon deer's fault!" Luna says grabbing her water bottle and taking a desperate drink to rinse her mouth of the lingering taste of blood.

"Jungkook is right though," Hoseok says. "You need blood to survive. Unless you want to fully convert?"

"No," Luna answers quickly.

"I think you should," Jungkook says. "You won't survive much longer if you don't. If someone else goes through you, even just once, that could be it for you. Drinking blood now is just a temporary solution, but if you were a full vampire you wouldn't have to worry about being on the brink of death every second."

"It's late," Hoseok says feeling the fear in Luna's face. "Let's just get some rest and we'll talk about this in the morning with everyone else." He waves Jimin and Taehyung out and they leave Luna and Jungkook alone on his bed.
