Sunyoung once again finds herself providing refuge for Jungkook and Luna who are trying to stay out of Minseok's sight. She doesn't mind having them over, but she's not too thrilled about why they're there. Even after the warning she gave Minseok, he's decided to continue trying to get in the way of things.

Jungkook feels like he can finally breathe a little. Not much, but at least a little more than before. He loves that they can be safe here, but he knows he can't stay long. He still has a job to do at the palace and his mom's house isn't close enough to make it easy.

He wonders if maybe moving out of the palace would be better. His brother seemed to be much happier when he moved just a block away. It wouldn't be easy, especially since everything he ever needs is provided for him by the palace. It would be nice to not have to worry about his father trying to interfere with his life and his relationship with Luna, but he's afraid he wouldn't know what to do to maintain a household without the help of the free royal amenities he's had his whole life.

Whatever the best choice may be, he'll have to decide later. He just received a call from Jin summoning him back to the palace to be an escort while he visits another kingdom. This isn't a scheduled visit so it has Jungkook a little worried, but Jin assured him it's nothing bad.

Luna wishes she could go along but instead she's left behind with Sunyoung. It's fine at first, she and Sunyoung always get along well. The day goes on and they watch tv until Sunyoung prepares dinner. She leaves a bit for Jungkook in case he's hungry when he comes back. Afterwards Sunyoung heads to bed and leaves Luna to herself.

Luna is bored. She didn't think to bring anything with her except her phone, and she's already burned out from playing games on there. Her restlessness spurred her to go out for a walk. Not just a walk, but a journey back to the palace. It's not what she initially planned to do, but she figures she can grab something to keep her occupied.

At the very least she can get her headphones and listen to music without disturbing Sunyoung. Headphones Jungkook gave her because she discovered a vampire group with a very catchy song. She went down a rabbit hole after learning their names and she quickly drove Jungkook crazy to the point of him buying her headphones so he wouldn't have to hear the same songs over and over.

She approaches the palace only hoping to quickly slip into Jungkook's room and slip out. The last thing she wants is to run into Jungkook and have him getting on to her for wandering off on her own, especially so late at night. She feels like she's been here long enough to get around fine, but he's protective of her. She wants him to take it easy, but she also finds it endearing.

As she's in the grand entryway nearing the door to the quarters where Jungkook's room is, she's suddenly unable to move. It's like something stopped her dead in her tracks and she can't move a muscle.

"What the fuck?" She says trying to break free from whatever paralysis she's under.

"The more you fight, the tighter it gets."

Luna turns to the sound of the voice to see Minseok approaching her.

"What the fuck is this?" She asks feeling both scared and angry.

"I can't allow this to go on," Minseok says with fire in his eyes. "You can't be trusted."

"You don't know anything about me!" Luna knows by trying to fight back she's poking a bear, but she has better control of her power now and she'll easily blast him across the street if he tries anything.

"I know enough! There's no reason why a Saakhan convert needs to be with my son!"

"He's a grown fucking man, you narcissistic prick!" She shouts.
