Haeun glanced over the sleeping boy who seemingly won't be waking up anytime soon. He looked so leisure and comfortable laying his head down on the table though he would be complaining about his hurting back and sore neck once he woke up.

Nonetheless, Haeun was hoping to see his sleeping face more longer. For, he looked so attractive.

His wavy hair hooded over his forehead, tempting Haeun to reach and ruffle it as much as she want to. Unknowingly, one of her hands already extended, her fingertips were already touching them.

But Sunwoo suddenly woke up.

"What are you doing?" he questioned in his raspy voice, his brows knitted together. He might have looked drowsy, but he was not.

He pushed her hand aside, slowly lifting his head and stretching up his numb limbs in which his yawning automatically activated.

Strange how Haeun was swooning over that mere sight. No words could leave her mouth except for one thing.

"Pretty."

It was indeed a bit loud considering how Sunwoo looked at her disgustingly, a scoff was then heard.

"Don't you have something else to do other than admiring me?" he sarcastically asked in which he regretted right away when she shook her head harshly, smiling like a fool.

He forgot that this girl was crazy.

After spotting her with Jihoon the other day, he obviously could not stand her sight. His mind would be wandering around naughtily, speculating something he wished was wrong but Sunwoo wasn't able to rid it off from his head.

"You," he leaned closer to her, which did nothing but her heart furiously beating. "Why are you flirting with me?"

"I...I..." she was frustrated of herself for suddenly stuttering. And some more her watch started buzzing like crazy, indicating the abnormal heartbeat inside her chest. She slapped herself lightly, her breath hitched by seeing Sunwoo this close. "I want you to date me."

"You want me to believe that?"

"What?"

For the first time since they had been seatmates, Sunwoo saw her eyes trembling in fear. She started breathing heavily, her watch buzzing even loudly.

He was satisfied - finally she knew with whom she was dealing with.

"I saw you with Jihoon that day," he admitted, intimidating her more with her sharp gaze. "Did he send you to me? To mess up with me?"

Strangely, like Jihoon's name was some sorts of cure, Haeun's heart had calmed, the buzzing sound from the watch deafened. She clicked her tongue, leaning forward towards him, in which the boy did the opposite, growing gap between them.

"What kind of feud do you have with him?" she pondered cutely but not enough to attract Sunwoo's attention.

Instead, the boy flicked her forehead making Haeun winced. He took that advantage to push her body away from his, unknowingly smiling when the girl rubbed the spot she was hit.

He should not be smiling at her.

Clearing his throat by the sudden realization, he crossed his arms, "I never knew that you're a manipulative type. Didn't I ask you questions earlier? Why haven't you answered any?"

Scoffing, Haeun bit her lips as she looked at the cranky boy.

"You aren't only grumpy but also impatient."

"Answer the questions."

The stern order made Haeun breathed out, skimming the boy's face. Deep from inside his eyes, she could see that he desperately want an answer to satisfy his curiosity.

However, it was not a normal curiosity. It was as if the answer was the key to his next decision.

"Jihoon was my friend in middle school," she answered, doodling some cartoons in her journal. "We drifted apart but we still can greet each other right?"

It was then Haeun looked at him again, her eyes were full of hopes. She wanted nothing but Sunwoo to believe that whatever happened between them, she was never a part of it.

And it seemed effective.

Sunwoo averted his gaze to a different direction, trying to digest the situation deciphered. A part of him did feel guilty for lashing out on her like it was proven that she was maybe a spy Jihoon sent to him.

Yes, he did have a feud with that certain boy. In fact, he was no longer his friend, but no one seemed to notice yet.

Except Haeun.

"Sunwoo," her voice calling for him immediately made the boy turned around, unknowingly hummed as a response.

Again, what power did Kim Haeun hold for him to be controlled like this?

"Did he do something to you?" she seemed aware of what kind of people Jihoon was. If she did not, her eyes would not be showing some sorts of sadness, disappointment and hatred. "Do you want me to talk to him?"

"For what?" Sunwoo crankily retaliated, messing with his own hair next. "Just care about yourself. I don't need you."

Optimistic as always, Haeun nodded, her lips pursed. She could assume that Sunwoo was not in mood and it was better for her to keep quite.

But, when his phone vibrated for an incoming call and he seemed too stress by seeing the caller's name on the screen, Haeun could not help but asking.

"Who's that?" she peeked over the screen in which its owner pulled it away, his stressed face somehow fell and his lips twitched upon seeing her sulky face.

"What did I say about being nosy?"

"No you didn't say that part."

Sunwoo was taken aback by the sarcasm, his heart seemingly had stopped beating once, his breath hitched.

"You got an attitude, don't you?" his tongue poked through his cheek.

"You as well," she chimed in, springing on her seat. "And that makes us perfect to be with each other!"

At that, Sunwoo choked on the air, his incoming call was long forgotten.

Argument with Kim Haeun seemed way more important.

"Excuse me Ms. Genius", he tapped her table with his finger at every words he said. "Why don't you just date anyone else? Eric is fine too."

"Eric?" she pondered, for she almost forgotten that the two knew each other. "No! I want only you."

Sunwoo surprisingly felt proud of himself. It did feel like he was a popular boy who need not to flirt with any girls, because girls would definitely come to him.

But the thing was, why would he date Kim Haeun just because of her wish list? Even his own girlfriend had been abandoned.
