Just like that, Sunwoo got no choice other than wasting his time with Haeun whilst Eric fled around the carnival with Jia.

Hanging out with those three today somehow had made Sunwoo ponder a bit. Their images were far too different from what he had expected.

They were geniuses within schoolground but looked so normal, so teenagers just like the other students when they were socializing outside the area.

The sight he saw right now specifically had concreted his speculation - Kim Haeun was trying  out some games.

Somewhere in Sunwoo's head, he had always thought that the geniuses were attracted to only books where they spent almost everyday digesting words and alphabets. He really thought that they would never had any chances to be outside on weekend, let alone going to a carnival.

This was a new world for him.

The airy sigh escaping the girl's lips as she put down the riffle onto the counter was what had woken Sunwoo up from his daydream. Haeun turned around facing him with some sorts of disappointment painted all over her face.

"I bet this game is not for me," she shrugged, eyes darted on the soft toys displayed which had been promised to be given to whoever that manage to shoot down some dummies across them.

Unknowingly, Sunwoo scoffed, the corner of his lips turned upwards. Not to brag about himself but if he needed to, he would say that he was good in any games.

This shooting game was nothing.

"You should learn from the expert," he proudly said, rolling his sleeves into a bunch a little up from his elbows.

Seeing him taking up the riffle and pointed it to one of the dummies with a raised brow and partly agape lips, Haeun found herself swooning even more - the game was long forgotten.

A small bang from the riffle resulted in the dummy to fall dramatically, Sunwoo proceeded to kill the rest of them. The last one specifically was killed with only one hand.

"Wow," the girl clapped cutely, eyes never leaving the boy. "You are good in many things."

Never once in the boy's life, he was proud of himself this high. Compliment obviously could've lighted someone's life up, and he was no exception.

"I clearly know that," he chuckled, starting to be cocky.

As per promised, one of the soft toys was given to him, the reality then hit. Initial intention of him to play this game was to enjoy himself and maybe to brag, he completely forgot about the prize.

Now, how could he go around the carnival dragging a plushie in his arms?

He looked straight into the plushie's eyes with a disgusted look on his face. It was cute, no doubt but never attracted him. However, the small spring underneath the girl's feet across him somehow had given him a hope.

Her pouty lips as she peeked over the plushie had clearly shown that she liked it, maybe wanted it?

It was then, Haeun sensed a pair of eyes were piercing through her skull which had made her lifting her head slowly, meeting with Sunwoo's glaring eyes.

"W-Why?" she gulped, his stare no doubt was a bit intimidating.

"Do you want this?" when Sunwoo asked, Haeun was doubting her ears.

Did she hear this right?

Did Sunwoo read her mind?

Or did he play the game just to gift her the prize?
