"You're so beautiful".
The remark unknowingly had escaped Sunwoo's lips as he busily admiring every features of the girl who he had trapped against the wall of the emergency stairs. Having her this close was electrifying, his stomach was churning with somewhat desire.
How exactly they ended up in this position?
It was all happened back in school in which the grumpiness had taken control of him again, he was all day moody. No matter what Haeun did to entertain him, it never work.
And the reason was because of the upcoming soccer game.
He would be busy with the training that by all means, he could not freely spend the time with Haeun.
And so, the girl sparked the idea to go for a date. Nonetheless, Eric and Jia would never leave them in peace as they decide to tag along.
Roaming inside the huge mall, an evil idea suddenly crossing in Sunwoo's head - he wanted to ditch the pair. However, he was aware that Haeun was not in a good condition to be too active, he ended up summoning her to the emergency stairs - hiding for a little while.
"Duh", Haeun rolled her eyes, looking up at the tall boy who was towering over her. "I already knew that, tell me something I don't know".
Sunwoo was taken aback by the attitude, it felt like a dejavu.
"You're being cocky now, aren't you?" he intimidated her with a raised brow, inching closer to her face. "You know I can do anything to you right now, right?"
To say that Haeun was not startled by the bold move was a lie, her heart was too close to stop beating but she refused to let him see herself wavered.
"I've learned from the best", she patted his covered chest, a small playful smirk crept up on her face. "Some more, I know you won't do anything".
At that, Sunwoo pulled away, scoffing bitterly, "your audacity..."
Haeun laughed, "you're always being gentle with me".
She was true indeed. Even holding her hand feared Sunwoo the most, she was like someone made of marble. So precious, so beautiful.
"Are you two done?"
"Argh!"
It had never been Haeun to scream that hard, it was Sunwoo. His voice echoed within the 4 walls which had been a question of Eric and Jia by the door - what was he furious about?
"Dude, you okay?" Eric concerned upon seeing Sunwoo on the floor, rubbing his chest. "Didn't know that you're a coward".
It was then, Sunwoo shot him a killing glare, enchanting the spell in his head. It made Eric gulp nervously, hiding behind Jia's back for protection.
The girl on the other hand was furious. It almost seemed like this was not the first time Eric used her.
"Enough with the drama", she wriggled, shoving the boy behind her back away. She then looked at Haeun who was helping Sunwoo up, slightly coughing to gain the two's attentions. "What did you two do earlier?"
"Nothing", Haeun sternly stood up for herself, assuring her friend. For a moment, she was pressured by the stares given. It was playful yet scary.
Eventually, the four then crashing into an arcade, suggested by Eric who was dying to play inside. He even volunteering to pay for everyone as long as they agree with the idea.
Who would be ignoring free things anyways.
"Is this your first time being here?" Sunwoo asked after some consideration.
